The Pfalz wine region is about (1hr.15m) south from Frankfurt or about 40 minutes from Heidelberg. Here you find a charming wine region of rolling hills with ancient wine roots and traditional wine villages with French influence. Being a warmer region the wines have more body and ripeness and it’s here beyond Riesling you will find some of Germany's best red wines. The Pfalz is also famous for some of Germany’s best cooking.
On this personal tour there will be 3+ wine tasting at a mix of boutique and iconic wineries tasting over 30+ wines. After all that wine we will stop for a hearty regional lunch of Schnitzel or special local sausage. There are great seasonal vegetarian options aswell. to keep the balance and wine flowing.
All wine tastings and lunch is included.

5.00We had a lovely day with Carl. It turned out to be just the two of us so we had a private wine tour and ride all day. From the moment we were picked up to drop off everything went great. Explored the Rhine region and tasted plenty of wine. We detoured and went to a brewery for lunch, which actually was perfect. Don’t hesitate to book this day trip from Frankfurt. Carl is a wonderful host

5.00Carl is an amazing guide. He provided a customized tour to several wineries. He provided background and the winery host explained about their wines. Carl provided snacks along the way (best pretzels ever) and some of his favorite wines to try. His car was comfortable and roomy. He continued to provide service along the way and assisted with shipping wine back to the states. This is a wine immersion tour with no limits on the number of wines experienced. We couldn’t ask for a better day and the hotel pick up and drop off made it easy. If you travel with Carl you won’t be disappointed

5.00Carl was very knowledgeable and gave us loads of insights. We visited 3 different wineries that all had something unique to offer. Carl tailored the tour to what we wanted but also inspired us to try alot of different blends that were amazing. We tasted a total of 52 different wines!! Snacks and even more wine was provided in between the stops. We had great day and would definitely call him again when we go back to the area for some more amazing German wines!
