Come along for a day to see the big gray whales in Magdalena bay with a marine biologist guide fluent in english, spanish and french. We'll head to the best spots to watch them and learn interesting facts. On our comfortable panga, you'll get a great view of the whales giving life, playing and teaching life to their newborn. It's a day full of excitement and a chance to truly appreciate these amazing animals in their natural home and enjoy a fresh seafood meal.

This trip was an absolute highlight for our family! Our guide, Hamza, was incredibly attentive and clear communication before we even arrived made everything seamless and stress-free. Traveling with my three children (ages 7, 9, and 12), I was thrilled that we all had such an amazing experience. Seeing so many grey whales was breathtaking, and having a few come right up to the boat was a once-in-a-lifetime thrill we’ll never forget. To top it off, the lunch at the captain’s house was excellent. This trip far exceeded our expectations!

This experience exceeded our expectations. I will recommend to anyone who is thinking of coming to baya to book a day to see the whales with Hamza. His experience and knowledge and his attention to detail as well as the small group setting is the only way I recommend seeing the whales. Once in a lifetime experience for our family!

Hamza was a brilliant host, very personable and knowledgeable. He looked after us so well, driving us from our Airbnb in La Paz to San Carlos where everyone boards their boats for Magdalena bay. We were out on the boat for 3 hours which was necessary to be able to optimise closer whale viewings. We got to see whales up close and overall it was a fantastic trip.

Trip was amazing! We saw so many whales throughout the trip doing so many things. We got to see a whale playing with boats and got to touch her as well! Hamza was an incredible guide! Unbelievable experience!

Amazing experience , to be able to get to see these beautiful creatures from such a close distance was a treat. Hamza and crew were great, lunch served by the captain afterwards was delectable.

Our Grey Whale experience was wonderful! A couple of whales came up very close to the boat and it was such a treat to spend time with them. Hamza and the boat crew were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. We were even treated to a delicious lunch made by the captain's family. I highly recommend Baja Wild Adventures.

My wife and I had an amazing time while on a whale-watching tour with Hamza. The tour included a pick-up at our hotel, quick breakfast stop, the whale watching boat tour, and a lunch at the port village with a choice of scallops or chicken (my wife had the chicken and I had the scallops), both of which were delicious; the lunch was prepared by the boat’s captain. I need to mention that Hamza accommodated us ahead of time on the lunch menu as my wife has several food intolerances. That was an outstanding detail! We shot some great whale footage, including a close-up “spy hop”, as they call it when a whale pierces straight up out of the water. Book this tour with the utmost confidence. You will not have any regrets and will come out of this with an experience of a lifetime! Hamza, thank you so much!

If I could give this trip more than 5 stars, I would. It’s obvious that Hamza, our tour guide, put in a lot of effort to make this a personalized experience. Captain & Hamza were both very respectful & safe around the gray whales. They provided transportation from La Paz to Magdalena Bay. We stopped for a very authentic breakfast on the way to the boat. We then spent hours with playful gray whales. Afterwards, we stopped for lunch at the Captains house, which was truly special. This was so much more than your average excursion. Can’t recommend enough.
