Great Blue Hole

Snorkeling at the Blue Hole gives you a front-row seat to its massive circular shape, with sheer limestone walls dropping into deep sapphire-blue water. Half Moon Caye National Monument

Half Moon Caye is a true gem of the Lighthouse Reef Atoll, both above and below the water. Snorkelers drift over vibrant coral gardens filled with hard and soft corals, sea fans, and sponges, while spotting schools of angelfish, groupers, and snappers weaving through the reef. It’s also one of the best places to see eagle rays gliding gracefully and the occasional sea turtle passing by. On land, the island is a protected sanctuary, home to a large colony of red-footed boobies and magnificent frigatebirds.
