It was a great experience and it felt like going back in history. Giacomo makes his guests picture all the historical scenes right on the exact sites where these events happened. In particular this tour focuses very much on the Great Siege of Malta, therefore Giacomo unveiled many historic insights that are not easily found on guidebooks that made this tour so rich. Although there is quite a lot of walking, every step is worth taking because Giacomo entertains in a brilliant way, making the itinerary feel not heavy and very enjoyable. Overall I would say , Giacomo created a top-notch tour with a great selection of historical insights and knowledge. I would recommend highly this tour , not only for those who are history enthusiasts but also it’s for everyone who is curious to discover more about Birgu and Malta.

The guide, Giacomo, was exceptional , the level of detail and storytelling made it feel like you were actually there in the moments he was describing. You don’t just hear the history, you visualise it. What really stood out was how quickly the time flew by. The tour ran just over two hours, but it genuinely didn’t feel like it . I actually found myself wanting more by the end. Great balance of humour and insight, and he does a brilliant job getting everyone involved without it ever feeling forced. I’ve done a few tours around Malta, and this one is on another level. Highly recommend

I was never a history enthusiast or I believed so, until I met Giacomo. Firstly I would love to point out that when someone takes the time to have a customised costume it already proves to me 2 importants points: Love & Quality Secondly the tour is a blend of fun & interactive experience where the character that Giacomo plays, takes you to see and re live the past. Thirdly as a Maltese, listening again to what happened and how our islands survived makes more proud to be Maltese, and this is thanks to Giacomo to remind me that. Finally what I love about Giacomo is that he says the truth as it is, even if it uncomfortable, talking about war nothing was comfortable. The tour was around 2 hrs long, but honestly I could listen to another hour, since i got so captivated. As a friend & as a customer I highly recommed Giacomo. Giancarlo

Do not miss this tour! It will give you an immersive experience and a memory worth keeping. As Voltaire put it: "Nothing is better known than the Great Siege of Malta". The year is 1565 and you have just arrived in Birgu as a recruit. The situation is dire and desperate. If you fail in defending Malta, the entire Mediterranean will be lost to the Ottoman invaders. Few will survive, but all will live forever in memory. Put on your armour. Sharpen your sword. Say your prayers. The time has come. God will prevail.
