head to the Porongurup National Park to tackle the stunning Nancy’s Peak & Devil’s Slide Trail. Commonly referred to as “The Porongurups”, this unique mountain range is approximately 12km long and was formed over 1200 million years ago, making it one of the oldest mountain ranges in the world! The energy of this ancient mountain range can be felt with your first steps into the dense karri forest that surrounds the base of the peaks. As you summit the giant granite peaks you will be left in awe at the stunning views of farmland across to Albany and the Stirling Range. This was a weekend escape from the city to explore the natural wonders of Albany. I was invited by my friend a week before, and I gladly said yes. I was looking forward to the views, but also looking forward to a full night sleep (thanks kids). I've hiked before, so I knew what to expect in terms of physical activity. Luckily I had some fitness level to hike up Devil's Slide, so I'd only recommend this climb for people with no physical injuries or major limitations. This tour was just incredible and the guides were amazing. I felt safe and encouraged by Tracy and Mark. Whether you are looking for a day hike (also done a few of these), or a weekender hiking trip, I would recommend Off the Beaten Track to take you!

Just did my first hiking weekend with OTBT and it was an amazing experience. Our guides were awesome, helpful, knowledgeable and very conscious of of our hiking ability. Accommodation in Albany was great, very central to cafe's and restaurants where we dined and the food was delicious. First hike on the Bald Head Trail was challenging but the views were breathtaking. Our second hike had to be cancelled due to weather conditions but the alternative was organised immediately including our winery lunch. We hiked Mount Hallowell in Denmark and this hike was fantastic definitely a contrast from the previous day and the views at the top were astounding. We also did a sunrise hike to Point King Lighthouse ruins which was not on our itinerary but our guides went out of their way to get up early to take us and the sunrise was spectacular. Will definitely do another tour with OTBT

Spent 7 days doing the Cape to Cape Glamping Trip. Wow what an experience! Fantastic set up, very organised and lovely accommodation. All meals provided so we had nothing to think about, just enjoy the journey. Our guides Heidi and Andrew, were awesome, very informative, loads of fun, and even took care of our weary feet to allow us to complete the trip. Highly recommended if you are looking for a challenge and a different kind of holiday.

I had a lovely time on a weekend group hiking trip with OTBT. I was quite nervous about not being the typical demographic of attendees and also having unique needs due to a psychosocial disability. I felt very welcome and greatly appreciated the bonds made. Above all you can really sense the passion and care OTBT has towards sharing their love of hiking and the amazing mindfulness benefits. Our hiking trips were excellently curated featuring a range of landscapes, challenges, and most importantly truly inclusive of all that attended. The pairing of food and visiting local highlights was also excellent! Communication beforehand was a breeze and reassuring to my nerves. I felt extremely safe and well cared for and encouraged by the staff across my hikes. Very highly recommend, I am looking forward to booking another adventure again and supporting this great business :~ )

I just completed a 3 multi day hike from Pemberton to Northcliffe. I had an amazing time and felt really supported by the guides and it was well organised by Tracey. It was my first overnight hiking and camping experience and it was a great way to get my confidence up and the guides were really knowledgable so I feel I learnt some great skills for future hiking adventures. Our guides Sarah and Mikey were friendly, knowledgable, supportive and patient with the group to help us all have a great time. I would definitely recommend this organisation :)
