The Island Tour Bus is a convenient sightseeing bus that departs and arrives at Tonosho Port and tours Shodoshima's tourist spots in one day. 10:15-16:15
Recommended for those who can't decide where to start sightseeing on Shodoshima or are worried about driving in unfamiliar areas.
It also comes with a guide (in Japanese), so it's safe for those visiting Shodoshima for the first time.

Osaru no Kuni
About 500 wild monkeys are fed here, and the Japanese monkeys of Choshikei are designated as a natural monument of Kagawa Prefecture. You can experience feeding them. [Spending time 40 minutes Tonosho Tourist Center → Travel time to Shodoshima Choshikei 30 minutes]
Kankakei Summit Observation
Lunch location ★Guests who wish to use the ropeway will be travelling one way from the summit to the base (Kountei Station). *Please pay the one-way fare (please check the fare on the official Kankakei Ropeway website) at the ticket booth at the summit. Our bus will also come to pick you up at the base (Kountei Station). ☆Guests who do not wish to use the ropeway will enjoy lunch and sightseeing at the summit before travelling by bus from the summit to the base (Kountei Station). The bus guide will inform you of the departure time for the bus from the summit. The ash breccia deposited by volcanic activity has been eroded by crustal movement, water and wind, creating a gorge that is counted among Japan's three most beautiful gorges. [Spending time 50 minutes, travel time from Choshikei to Kankakei summit 40 minutes]

The bus leaves every day at 10:15 AM from in front of the Tonosho Port Tourist Center, and stops at popular spots such as Choshikei Monkey Park (admission included), the summit of Kankakei Gorge, the 24 Eyes Movie Village (admission included), Ittoku-an Tsukudani shop, and the Olive Park. This tour is perfect for those unsure of where to start exploring Shodoshima or those who feel uneasy driving in unfamiliar places. With a Japanese-speaking guide on board, even first-time visitors to the island can enjoy a worry-free experience.
