Located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, Greenville is a wonderful city to explore by Segway. Glide through downtown Greenville to the historic West End and then cruise along the scenic Swamp Rabbit trail. Choose from several departure times.
PLEASE NOTE ALL OF THE FOLLOWNG: All guests are required to arrive 30 minutes BEFORE the start of your tour time for MANDATORY SEGWAY orientation and training. IT IS VERY DIFFICULT IF NOT IMPOSSIBLE TO ACCOMMODATE LATE GUESTS. (We can send you gift codes that don't expire to use to rebook another time). OUR office is located ON THE STREET LEVEL of NOMA Flats at 233 N. Main St. (directly across N. Main St. from Kilwin's/ Hyatt Hotel) to the left of the elevator.

Minimum age is 12 years old AND they must weigh at least 100 lbs.
Participants under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent OR an adult 21 years or older with a signed waiver from parent
Minimum weight is 100 lbs (45 kg)
Maximum weight is 260 lbs (117 kg)
Dress code: Closed-toe shoes are preferred but not required; shoes with any heel can be a challenge, and weather-appropriate layers; no hats

Once you feel comfortable on your Segway, head out through downtown to the historic West End. 4.00While the Segway was not quite as easy as I expected, my guide Walter was very kind and gave me a little extra time for training. When I still couldn’t get the hang of it, he offered to hold the handle bar for support so I wouldn’t fall. There was a scheduling error and I ended starting at 6:30pm, but it was a happy accident as I ended up getting to see the parks all lit up at night. It was so beautiful!

5.00This was an awesome way to see downtown and west end Greenville (what we chose to see - the guide gave us lots of options as to where we wanted to go). Walter, the guide, was extremely knowledgeable both about Greenville and its history and Segway safety, and was extremely attentive to our goals of the tour and our well-being. I am saving the information for this tour because we will absolutely do this Segway tour when we return to Greenville in a few months. The next time we'll tour the gardens!

1.00That if you are not able to handle the equipment and the instructor agrees that you shouldn’t ride the Segway - that the owner won’t refund your money !! Her excuse was that they need 24 hours to cancel - so if you book the appointment online at 5 PM the evening before and your apt is at 11 the next morning - you cannot get a refund even after the instructor determines that you simply cannot handle the Segway ! What a rip off !! Would never recommend them to anyone !!! Her fake concern for the clients safety is a joke .

3.00Our guide Walter was great, he showed us around town and pointed out historical places, haunted places, and good spits to eat, hangout. My wife was unable to pass the safety check she opted not to go, however the owner refused to refund her ticket.

He made sure we felt satisfied with the experience covering what was most important to us. The tour was a great way to understand the lay out of the city geographically early in our visit which helped us more easily navigate the city on our own. We highly recommend this tour.
