5.00We had Carlos as our tour guide and he was fantastic. Took the time to answer all our questions and showed us all sides of the favella. We went with our two daughters, Ava 15 and Sofiah 11, I would highly recommend it as a tour for children of their ages with their parents. Booking with united tours was easy and I love the fact that they give back to favella, something that was really important to us when booking. The highlight of our trip to Brazil so far. Thank you Carlos!

5.00Roberto was a fantastic guide, collected me on time from my hotel (as planned), he actually lives very close to Rocinha Favela, so knew exactly the best way to see and experience this area. He had organised scooters to give us a lift to the top, so we started with a coffee with the most incredible views. He is such a nice guy and shared with me the way of life of the favela as we slowly walked the tiny back streets and stairs back down, so so glad I got off the tourist path (as beautiful as Rio is) to also see this neighbourhood. Highly highly recommend this time and this tour. Thank you Roberto, I will never forget Rio! Amazing city.

5.00Excellent tour of the pacified Rocinha favela, one of the largest in the world. The guide Juninho is a really good guy, and was very kind in explaining everything to us, taking us through several stops including watching a capoeira performance, walking through the crazy alleys of the favela, ending casually with a football match on a small pitch within it. Unique experience, being in contact with a world totally far from our eyes. Super safe tour, I recommend it to everyone

5.00Excellent tour, with very friendly, knowledgable guide. Experienced the atmosphere, culture and street art in this vibrant community. Starting with an exhilarating ride to the top of the favela on a local motorcycle taxi, then wandering down through a variety of different streets, stopping at key vantage points for some amazing photo opportunities. Many thanks!

5.00Such an amazing tour AND tour guide! Junior shared his experience growing up in the Favelas and gave us an in-depth tour of the area. It was super well organized, informational, and fun! I especially like how this tour company is owned and ran by someone native to the Favelas who speaks the truth about this village. Plus he knew EVERYONE in the street and gave hugs and high fives to all, which made us feel safe.

5.00Robert, our 9am tour guide was EXCELLENT. Humble, relax, knowledgeble,resourceful. Our main language is spanish so we speak Portuñol with him and everything was flawless (anyway google translator will help anytime). Robert picked us at our hotel, coordinated motorcycle ride up into the favelas, had a lot of small talk with us, did the walked tour, made everything seems effortless and make us feel so COMFORTABLE. From top to bottom of the Favelas we weren't worry about the safetyness but in case you wonder IS TOTALLY SAFE and ENJOYABLE. Don't hesitate and book this tour. Obrigado Roberto. vejo você em breve.
