Based in Carrapateira Village, we are a touristic company which provides qualified and personal tours for small groups or private, for different kind of activities to show you the secrets of the area and around. We want to offer different activities for tourists, so they can also get to know more about this area and fall in love with it as we do. It is also about creating moments, experiences and memories to take back home with you!
With this surf lesson, you will introduce yourself to an amazing sport, or improve your skills at it, in one of the most beautiful beaches around, exercising your body and mind, while having a perfect beach day! Our instructor will make it so easy for you, that for sure, this will be the beginning of a new hobby and a perfect activity during you holidays!

What To Expect
In this activity, you will be able to enjoy and participate in a surf lesson!! Surf and bodyboard, are water sports very typical of this area, due to the almost perfect conditions that we have the whole year to practice it. During the summer seasons, lessons will take place at Bordeira Beach, one of the most beautiful and breathtaking beaches in this side of the West Coast, with kilometres of dunes and plenty of space in the water for our surf practice. We have lessons for different levels, so please, let us know when booking your level or experience and we will adapt the lesson for your needs. Surf is a really complete sport, perfect exercise for you body and mind, while being in the water and enjoying the beach at the same time. Perfect time and the perfect activity during your holidays! Lesson times might be adjusted for your comfort depending specially on tides and swell

5.00We had booked a 5-day surf course but the conditions allowed us to go on the water only 3 days. Nelson from “Carrapateira extreme tour” was very responsive to keep us informed of the day-to-day conditions, he took no risks to insure the lessons at any cost and reimbursed us for the 2 lessons we could not take. We very much enjoyed the 3 sessions carried out. Louis, our teacher, gave everything to make us progress. But surfing is not easy! Especially at 50 years old. Thank you to the whole team for this week out of time, in breathtaking landscapes! We definitely recommend!

5.00We have booked for two people to learn to surf. Initially we went at 15:00, but the Owner sent us a message that it would be better at 13:00 because of the wind and water:) this made us feel good immediately! Once we arrived we got a good wetsuit and followed Tiago, the teacher with our vehicle to the place where we had to park. Afterwards a short walk along a path and the beach to the sea, which is a good warm-up! Tiago gave us a quiet, perfect explanation about surfing. The lesson went uphill, so we could stand up on our surfboard at the end! Big thank you to Tiago and the others! See you again in a couple of years! :D

5.00Introductory surfing lesson suitable for beginners. The location is beautiful and the weather was very favorable (good waves, in our opinion, but not excessive). Good and stimulating instructors. We felt that perhaps the equipment was a bit minimal, perhaps distributing the surfboards based on height could be an idea. The path to reach the beach on foot with the boards in hand was a bit tiring.

5.00We booked 5-Days of Surfing Lessons with the excellent and cool Surfing Teacher Guy. It was really amazing and so much fun, we also got to know many other nice surfing students. The groups were relatively small, and Guy spent a lot of time on each person, helping us riding the waves. The beach where the lessons took place is beautiful, not too crowded and the waves are very good for surfers - surfing was possible all of the 5 days in a row. Thanks again and see you next year!

If you do exactly what he says you will get it and will go home with a big smile on your face :) Most people in the class were first timers and they all did great, standing up on their first surf class :D I had other surf experiences and this was for sure the best!
