Uncover the spiritual heritage and cultural gems of Aragatsotn province on this enriching excursion. The journey begins at Hovhannavank Monastery (13th century), dramatically set above the Kasakh River gorge, and continues to Saghmosavank Monastery, where sweeping views open over the same striking canyon. We then stop at the elegant Karmravor Church (7th century), admired for its intimate scale, graceful design, and remarkably well-preserved original roof. A delightful pause follows at the Gourmet Dourme Chocolate House, inviting you to savor finely crafted Armenian chocolates. The day concludes with a visit to the Aghtsk Mausoleum, an extraordinary early medieval resting place of Armenian royalty. This tour seamlessly combines history, architecture, natural beauty, and local flavors into a truly memorable experience.

Hovhannavank monastery bears the name of John the Baptist. The oldest church here is the one-naved basilica, built in the 5th century. In the 13th century, under the patronage of Vachutian dukes, new buildings were added. The portal of the main church, which is embellished with evangelical motifs, is of great interest.

Exceptional half day trip full of great memories & highly recommended. Totally an enjoyable experience & a great experience & ideal to learn more about Armenia. Magnificent sights & each stop we were guided to fully understand & appreciate all. Mania provided excellent details, was highly knowledgeable, entertaining & patient with our group. Levon drove exceptionally safely & greatly appreciated his efforts too.

A very pleasant tour, we visited several interesting places in a short time, the guide actively answered questions and suggested how to best see the sight From what slightly worsened the impression: the minibus is quite small, I would like to keep 1 seat at the back of the bus vacant, otherwise the driving is quite uncomfortable Also, the chocolate factory would like to hear more about the history and production of the factory itself. A longer and more interesting workshop would also be desirable, as it currently stands it is of rather low value

Indeed very pleasant and educational tour with very special guide mrs. Marina and her driver Arun. We spent almoust a perfect day ( Ararat was cloudy 🤷) but the wine degustation, lunch and all the sites explained beyond the tour guide is supposed to do...Simply great. Thanks a lot until next time 🙌 Andrej

Many thanks to the wonderful guide Marina for the tour! It is nice when a man loves his camp, his work and is happy to share with other exciting legends and historical traditions of his country. If we are in Armenia again, we will definitely take another excursion from your company! Thanks also to driver Karen for the soft ride. Usually, I get a bit bogged down in transport, but then it went perfectly)

Tour was fantastic. Guide Marina was super informative and learnt so much about Armenia and the different sites from her, including some very fun facts which I would never had known of she didn't point it out. Lunch was at the place we had wine and got to taste also a local sweet treat. Food was very tasty. Safely driven by Haik. Would highly recommend the tour.

Went to Armenia on a solo trip and booked a tour with Hyur service. It couldn't had gone any better. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and very enthusiastic answering any questions I had. Can't wait to come back during Summer and do the Summer tours.
