I've been interested in meeting Guarani and learning about their way of living, since when I was travelling in the Argentinian side of Iguazu falls. But there I couldn't find a tour that would offer this kind of experience. And so I'm really glad I stumbled on this tour in Sao Paulo, by "Italiano em Sao Paulo" team. It was really interesting and educating. We visited two tribes, who believe in slightly different ways of living. Got to learn about their beliefs, day-to-day life, ask about their dreams and what they care about. Our tour guide, Denis, was friendly and approachable, spoke good English. The company lead, Rocco, who was organizing the logistics, was friendly, quick to help and provide a good advice, even on other things related to Sao Paulo and not necessarily to the tour itself - I appreciated that. When going on this tour, I'd recommend leaving the rest of the day free - just in case. Because maybe Guarani will invite you to share a meal, or the storytelling will take a little longer - so without a tight schedule you'll be able to fully enjoy whatever the experience has to offer :)

This is one of the best tours I’ve ever done - an amazing & unique experience visiting the Guarani tribe in different communities within the rainforest. The tour guide, Renato, was awesome - he actually speaks a little of the Guarani language & has great relationships with the Guarani people since he’s been baptized into the tribe. We got to have a great visit to see how the Guarani live, hunt, cook, learn, and other rituals/traditions & spiritual beliefs, etc. We brought some treats for the children too, which was great! We also got to visit some other areas around their village during this tour, including one of the peaks where you get a fantastic view of Sao Paolo. I highly recommend taking this tour for those that love learning of different people & enjoy unique experiences & seeing how happy/enjoyable people can be without all the materialistic stuff that we all have in our day to day lives! Amazing experience!

The visit was a unique experience, being in touch with nature and Guarani communities was very pleasant. Rocco was a very gentle and knowledgeable guide, also adapted the tour to our tastes. The indigenous people of the Guaraní villages had a very warm energy and made us feel at ease.

The best part was learning how the Guarani live and their situation in the city of Sao Paulo. I have spent a lot of time in SP but never realized the plight of the indigenous people. It was an enlightening experience. Rocco was very hospitable and I felt comfortable as a solo traveller. He is an excellent communicator and was attentive toward all member of the tour. Besides the village tour he took us on a very interesting hike up a mountain through lush tropical forrest to a panoramic view of SP. Some of us even saw little monkeys on the way down. I highly recommend Rocco's tours. If I ever return to SP (Covid) I will for sure book another tour with him.

The Guarani Tribe Experience, led by Rocco, was a fantastic experience that lasted a whole day and brought some friends. I went alone and I met amazing people. The following weekend I received in my house a new friend fruit from the tour. Rocco is a guide of the best quality, takes very good care of your guests, and guarantees a super rich experience!

This was one of the greatest experience while at São Paulo. Rocco is a Super professional and knowledgeable of Brazil and São Paulo In particular. He shared his experience throughly and provided a lot of information about locals, their cultures the unique way of living and the challenges they are facing . I would definitely recommend to everyone who’s looking for a unique experience that money cannot buy and only a few people could have.” Thank you Rocco and wishing you the best for the future

Rocco is a very dedicated and professional tour guide. My family and I had the pleasure to meet him during an excursion of São Paulo and its suburbs. When he offered us the possibility of visiting the Guaraní reserve, we soon accepted to join his tour. And indubitably that has been by far our best choice. We have been very happy to help the Guaraní communities we visited through our little contribution, and we are grateful to Rocco for the invaluable opportunity he gave us to get in touch with them. I was literally moved by the deep appreciation the leaders had towards him, and on the other hand, the respect and sensitivity of Rocco towards their communities, habits, rhythms, and lives. I feel for recommending Rocco as a tour guide and I will definitely contact him again for any of my next trips to Sampa.

The #Guaranitribeexperience organized and guided by Rocco was exceptional! Not only did I enjoy every single moment of the experience (from the ride there to every detail he organized) but also how he explained things. He is definitely very committed to delivering the best experience because of his connection with the local tribe. Its evident they trust and like him. He has great communication skills and a lot of respect for the tribe, he has great love for the kids and everything that involves being friendly with them. I learned so much from them and really felt like through Rocco Belletti' s tour, we were able to connect and feel out the authentic experience. The activity I enjoyed the most was giving back to the tribe and helping them keeping their environment clean. Helping them pick up plastic felt like the perfect way to give back. I recommend this tour so much, also for paulistanos that would like to have a contact with a natural side of their city and honour the native culture of the Guaranis. Cheers!
