What To Expect
We will be embarking on a hike to the summit of Table Mountain via a lesser-known and more adventurous route called India Venster. This route involves scrambling up a path that is off the beaten track. Once we reach the top, we will make our way towards the upper Cable Car Station. If the cable car is open, we will take it back down (ticket fare not included). However, if the cable car is closed, we will hike down a common route. During the hike, we will access some off-the-beaten-track viewpoints that offer stunning photo opportunities. Please note that there will be some steep and exposed sections along the route. If required, I will assist you with scrambling up these steep parts. It is important to be comfortable with heights and relatively fit, as the hike up is steep and rocky, lasting at least 3.5 hours. Additionally, we offer a Private Option that includes transport, route and start time flexibility, and an exclusive guide

5.00My first time hiking Table Mountain in Cape Town was an unforgettable experience. I was both excited and very nervous because the mountain is so massive. But I did it — and I did it well — thanks to my amazing guide. He was incredibly kind, friendly, and supportive throughout the entire hike, encouraged me when I felt tired, and always made sure I was comfortable. I was truly impressed by how attentive and professional he was. He knew the mountain extremely well and guided me safely along the way, stopping at breathtaking viewpoints so I could rest and take beautiful photos. We talked the whole time, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I remember one powerful moment when I felt nervous halfway up the mountain at a steep rocky cliff section. He calmly told me to keep my body close to the rock, slowly pull myself up step by step, climb slowly, and not be afraid. He said to connect our spirit with the mountain, respect it, and we would succeed. His words gave me so much confidence. It didn’t take long before I reached the summit — and it was absolutely incredible! Such an amazing and fun experience. My guide is also a professional surf instructor in Cape Town. He showed me videos from his YouTube channel, and I could see how skilled and professional he is. That same day, after coming down from Table Mountain, I decided to take a surf lesson with him. His teaching style was clear and easy to understand, and he even offers GoPro video recording during the lesson. It was so much fun — he is truly a professional. I highly recommend him if you are visiting Cape Town and want to hike Table Mountain or learn how to surf. He is the best guide you could ask for. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
