What To Expect
Altun Ha
Experience the ancient Mayan civilizations and enjoy historical enlightenment by your personal professional guide. Hike the Sun God Temple and feel “on top of the world” or take it light and simply walk the plazas and marvel at these antique temples. At the end of your tour, your guide will allow you to do on site souvenir shopping and can also take you to purchase local lunch before taking you back to your drop off point.

5.00Percy was a great tour guide! He was extreme flexible and accommodating towards us! He took us to everything we wanted to see and provided great information. He even gave us a great recommendation and took us to an awesome lunch spot. I would highly recommend to anyone who is interested in!

Guides don't speak Spanish

1.00The experience was not very good as the guides did not speak in Spanish just one word or another. I can highlight their effort to talk about it. The reason I chose this is because of the Spanish language option. It's a hoax.

5.00Percy was an amazing guide! He took the time to explain the history of Altun Ha and the country of Belize as well. The ruins themselves are impressive and you can feel the history of the site. The Belize sign was just a great photo opportunity! And the Travelers Rum Factory was a good time, plus interesting to see the bottle production through the viewing window. We did pay extra to add ziplining to our tour, but this was amazing. The guides Manuel and Wilfredo (Fred) were fun patient with us 2 scared ladies. Again, Percy was awesome and it was a fantastic tour!

5.00Our tour guide was Jeff, he was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, funny and took great care of us. Although it was a long ride there and back, Jeff kept us occupied with deep knowledge of the country, city and places that we visited. More than that, Jeff made us feel safe, and kept us on time. The Ruins are absolute must see, you could truly sense the history and the property is very well maintained and unadulterated.

5.00Jeff our guide met us when we get off the ship. He drove us to the ruins the whole time giving us information about Belize and the ruins. We beat the buses so we had the whole place almost to ourselves. He gave a great review of the site and history of the Mayan people. On the way back to ship we had our tequila tasting and he gave us the tour of the place. The tequila was good. Highly recommend this tour.
