You will reach the summit of the second most active volcano in Chile, at a height of 3125 meters above sea level! Not very touristy and with wonderful views, it is a unique experience. You will have a view over other volcanoes, lakes and ancient forests of Araucarias. The activity requires a good physical condition and previous climbing experience is recommended.

The guides explained everything excellently and in great detail, which made each moment interesting and easy to understand. The experience was truly unforgettable, one of those that stays recorded forever! In addition, the scenery and surroundings were absolutely breathtaking, with views that leave you speechless.

Top experience with Sebastian. Even my sister, without particular experience in the mountains, managed to get to the top without problems. The guide and the perfect equipment make you feel safe, the rest is done by the magnificent place. However, I recommend a good athletic vase.

Excellent trekking the Llaima Volcano. We were a small group accompanied by two Guides, Sebastián and his assistant Andrea. Excellent both guides. Sebastián speaks English very well and also knows the area very well and has a lot of experience. Crack. The incredible landscapes. Super recommended. A trek of medium difficulty. The organization and transfers were correct and on time.

Sebastian and Tomas were amazing. Picked us up on the dot at 3 am for the llaima volcano hike. We had a clear day and they were very attentive and fun and taught us a couple of things including self arrest. They are simply snow angels 😇 ⭐️. Muchas gracias.

The climb was a unique experience and definitely recommended. You get shoes, crampons, ice axe, backpack and waterproof ski clothing and are picked up directly from your accommodation in Pucón. The climb should not be underestimated. The first few kilometers to the start of the volcano are not too steep and easily doable. However, the cone is quite steep, especially in the last section, which is quite strenuous and can be a bit scary for people who are afraid of heights. On the way down, you use a plastic plate as much as possible. This not only saves a lot of time, but is also a lot of fun. At the end, you can have a cold beer by the car before driving back.

I wanted to climb Llaima while it was still snowy, I contacted the agency on Dec 28th, despite holidays the agency was able to organize the tour on a very short notice for Jan 2nd. There were 3 people total with the guide (on the whole mountain which pretty cool). Climbing Llaima was a very nice experience, it's not hard, our walking pace was perfect, the weather was gorgeous, the views were amazing. Our guide Diego was wonderful, he was very professional, he had a great attitude, he was positive and just as happy climbing a mountain as we were - the tourists. Diego was constantly checking on us, cheering us on, couldn't have been the same experience without him. I learned a lot about Llaima, the history, the legends, etc. 11/10 absolutely must do experience :)

It was a dream come true! Just an amazing experience! Everything was organized and performed as described by the Ermitaño Expediciones team. The tour guides were very professional and you can easily tell the experience that they have, so we felt very comfortable and safe. I would totally recomend their services. Looking to visit Chile?
