Explore western Sedona on this guided, 3 hour ATV tour. Ride out among beautiful red rocks while powering down a beaten-down desert trail. See Sedona from a place no tour bus can go and experience the back country like never before. This is a 20-30 mile tour within red rock desert terrain with panoramic vistas.

What To Expect

Arizona ATV Adventures

The West Sedona Canyon Tour area is about 8 miles west of Sedona. Make your own way to the departure point and from there, you will be taken to the trailhead in a 15-passenger van. The 3-hour tour begins when you arrive at the trailhead. This is the outback of the West Sedona Valley, where over 40 movies have been filmed over the years. There is over a hundred miles of trails to choose from, which provides your guide with the opportunity to customize each tour based on the age, interests and skill levels of the group. You’ll be awestruck by a view of the Verde Valley from the top of Skeleton Bone Mountain, over 800 feet above the valley floor. And don’t be surprised if some antelope run alongside you as you drive along the valley floor! For your safety and comfort, wear closed-toed shoes, long pants, and bring your sunglasses. Also, bring your camera; the views are spectacular!

Fees and the security deposit must be paid by credit card at check-in; cash is not accepted.

Security deposit: $500 per quad, refunded if the quad has no damage.

Jordan and Chris were outstanding guides from the time we arrived to the time we ended our trip. The 4 of us had never operated an ATV prior to this trip. After a brief 10 minute training session we were very comfortable with the ATV. Jordan and Chris were extremely pleasant, fun and shared a lot of interesting information with us. Our ATV trip was one of the highlights of 5 days in Sedona. Lastly, we unknowingly overbooked the trip through a 3rd party. Once this was known they immediately administered “the fix” so we were not overcharged. We highly recommend this ATV adventure for everyone, including ATV novices like us.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip with Jordan and Chris. We especially appreciated the extra time that was spent on training and safety before we drove to the ATV site. The tour was informative, and the sights were impressive. The track was a mix of trails and road...with more road being used at the end of the day.

Tyler and Chris were fantastic guides. We had the best time exploring the coconino national forest with them and seeing the red rocks. The atv tour was, without a doubt, the most fun way to explore the Sedona area. We absolutely recommend the tour, as would our 10 and 8 year old.

To anyone thats not quite sure they can do it-I was hesitant to go on the tour due to my lack of experience and general anxiety of not knowing what to expect. Im so happy i went! Tyler was friendly, supportive and super patient. The views are out of this world. Amazing job Arizona ATV Adventures!
