Explore western Sedona on this guided, 3 hour ATV tour. Ride out among beautiful red rocks while powering down a beaten-down desert trail. See Sedona from a place no tour bus can go and experience the back country like never before. This is a 20-30 mile tour within red rock desert terrain with panoramic vistas.

What To Expect

Arizona ATV Adventures

The West Sedona Canyon Tour area is about 8 miles west of Sedona. Make your own way to the departure point and from there, you will be taken to the trailhead in a 15-passenger van. The 3-hour tour begins when you arrive at the trailhead. This is the outback of the West Sedona Valley, where over 40 movies have been filmed over the years. There is over a hundred miles of trails to choose from, which provides your guide with the opportunity to customize each tour based on the age, interests and skill levels of the group. You’ll be awestruck by a view of the Verde Valley from the top of Skeleton Bone Mountain, over 800 feet above the valley floor. And don’t be surprised if some antelope run alongside you as you drive along the valley floor! For your safety and comfort, wear closed-toed shoes, long pants, and bring your sunglasses. Also, bring your camera; the views are spectacular!

It was a great trip even for experienced riders. You will get dirty but that’s what it’s all about. The scenery was beautiful and Tyler provided some interesting facts and history of the area. Total mileage - 25 miles.

Adam and Nick led a fun ride for a group of six out into the red rock area just west of Sedona on gravel/dirt roads. Everything was well done, from the instructions on how to operate the ATV’s (easy) to the tour itself (ditto). We two were first time ATVers, and we had a blast.

This tour was so much fun! We had never driven an ATV before. So easy. After a quick couple of laps around at the office, we were ready to go. We took the morning tour, so it felt like we were the only ones out there. Sedona is beautiful and the tour took us through the ranch area that we would not have seen with hikes. LArry, our guide, was great. He go us geared up, trained, and on the trails in record time. Larry is very knowledgeable and shared lots of history about the area. He also recommend an outstanding hike for the afternoon.

So much fun! Lets face it, driving around an an ATV in one of the most beautiful places on the planet is amazing. It was great getting out and seeing Sedona from a different angle than just the tourist part. Highly recommended.

Amazing tour with incredible views! The highlight of the entire experience was our guide, Adam — friendly, enthusiastic, and full of fun facts about the area. He shared so much knowledge about the plants, animals, rocks, and all the cool things that make Sedona special. Adam made sure everyone stayed together and that we were comfortable and safe throughout the ride. We also appreciated the cold water and snacks provided at each stop. The 4-wheeler was in excellent condition and clearly well maintained. We had such a great time — highly recommend this tour, and especially Adam!

Great companies start with great employees. Very friendly and caring. Really safety oriented all while making it a blast. Adam our tour guide was very personable and interesting explaining the trail and knew the best places for memorable pictures. The four hour trip seemed like an hour it was so enjoyable.
