The West Sedona Canyon Tour area is about 8 miles west of Sedona. Make your own way to the departure point and from there, you will be taken to the trailhead in a 15-passenger van. The 3-hour tour begins when you arrive at the trailhead. This is the outback of the West Sedona Valley, where over 40 movies have been filmed over the years. There is over a hundred miles of trails to choose from, which provides your guide with the opportunity to customize each tour based on the age, interests and skill levels of the group. You’ll be awestruck by a view of the Verde Valley from the top of Skeleton Bone Mountain, over 800 feet above the valley floor. And don’t be surprised if some antelope run alongside you as you drive along the valley floor! For your safety and comfort, wear closed-toed shoes, long pants, and bring your sunglasses. Also, bring your camera; the views are spectacular!

What a great time. Tyler was our guide and was very professional and fun. He also really knew his stuff about the area we rode thru and the sights we enjoyed. We had a blast and I think I left a little smarter about Sedona's nature and history. Great job guys!!

This was one of the best tours I have ever done. JC was very knowledgeable. He presented ideas in a relaxed, open and non judging way. I also learned about the geological, animal, and cultural origins of the area. My husband and I left smiling after a very enjoyable experience.

We started our tour with a safety drive at the Sedona office and it was a nice orientation to the equipment and the guide’s personality! Adam, our guide, was both amusing and serious about safety - a tricky combination to pull off and he did it well. Next, we travelled in our personal cars to the off road parking area. The adventure began with another safety ride around the parking lot. After the guides determined that all drivers were comfortable with the equipment we began our journey. Initially, the roads were relatively smooth and we weren’t kicking up too much dust. As we moved closer and closer to the rock formations the roads were more challenging and the views were amazing! I still can’t believe how close we got to the rock formations. We stopped several times to take in the views. At each stop Adam showed off his knowledge of the area as well as his photography skills taking pictures of the various groups. By the end of the tour, we were driving like professionals and zooming towards the starting point - taking in the pending sunset. Such a beautiful, fun filled day!
