Our guide Tae (sp?) was excellent who explained history and interesting stories about Stellenbosch. The ride was great on both paved and dirt paths and briefly challenging for this senior as we headed out of town up small hills but doable and worth the effort. The wine tastings were in beautiful locations and the pours generous. Really enjoyed the day with our small group of 6. Thank you!

Half day tour for a family of four. Booking was down easily though our hotel concierge the day before . E bikes were all Giant and in excellent condition. Care taken to fit the bikes and helmets to each of us , and make sure we all knew how to operate them before setting off . Our guide Marchal was great fun and knowledgable about the history of the town . The pace of the tour was tailored to our ability so the teens had opportunity to test their speed and power while the grown ups could take it easier . Had a good look round town , visited a quirky shop and two vineyards with wine tastings at each and chocolate pairings at the last. Finished with a tour of the wine cellars . No pressure to purchase anything, but opportunity if you wanted and info on shipping . All in all a great day out and would definitely recommend.

This is a very special tour that was appropriate for my whole family (I have two teenagers). The history was interesting. The views were great. The wine and chocolate were truly enjoyable and, best of all, our Tour Guide, Sevo, was fantastic!

We had a wonderful morning on a bike in Stellenbosch with our fantastic guide Marshel. First a tour of the city with some historical guidance in a very nice way. Marcel is knowledgeable, funny and nice! First a visit to a nice little shop, which really had it all, and then bike on up to the mountains for wine tasting No 1 in a magically beautiful place. Then back to town and wine tasting No. 2 with good chocolate and wine tasting and guidance on how the wine is made. A really lovely day that is highly recommended. Good value, fun, tasty and interesting.

One star for the great winetastings at beautiful estates, another for the outstanding guide Marcell (hopefully spelled correctly) and another for the beautiful Stellenbosch itself, through which we drove listening to the guide's stories. However, I was very disappointed by the route and its distance. The issued mountain bikes, which also stoked the corresponding touring character with me, did not do their kind justice. 90% of the route goes over asphalt of the road or a bike path next to it. I had expected this to be much more natural, especially since this also resulted in some pictures here (on request, however, these are uploaded incorrectly here and from another tour). It wasn’t so cool for us, but if you don’t focus on biking, but to get from Weingut A to Weingut B quickly and easily, you could/will like the tour. That's what the many reviews say before...

We had such a great time with Michele last Friday! It is a GORGEOUS bike ride up to the two vineyards - through the vines at Lanzerac and then up a slight hill in the mountains up to Stark-Conde, which made it feel like you kind of earn the mid-morning wine drinking haha. The outdoor tasting area at Stark-Conde is beautiful on a little pond with the mountains in the backdrop. The tasting at Lanzerac is actually a wine and chocolate pairing and it was so good! Michele was kind, informative, made good conversation and flexible based on our interests. I would definitely recommend going on this tour with him!

Just back from a wonderful day cycling and learning a little more about Stellenbosch, the cycling onto a couple of wine estates. Our Guide was Marshall and such a great guide around Stellenbosch, and great as a leader up to the wine farms. We had e-bikes which made it a little easier for us, but the pathways were in good condition and the hills not so bad. All in all a really great day and would recommend it to anyone.
