Well worth coming on the tour if you are interested in the history of Stellenbosch. Our guide was very knowledgeable and imparted her talk with humour.

Very short. Not 1.5 hrs as described. Difficult to hear guide due to lots of traffic noise. Group should be smaller. ……..

This was a bit disappointing. Our guide - Marlene - was lovely but so softly spoken we missed a lot of the information as we just couldn’t hear her. The pace was also very slow - it was a hot sunny day and the tour lasted one hour and 15 minutes. We would have preferred a more high energy faster paced tour - perhaps covering the same sights in under an hour

Johan was so knowledgeable, interesting and friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed my walk around Stellenbosch. The walk takes you through the whole town, you see the historic buildings and hear about their relevance in the history of the town.

The guide was really good, also with a good amount of humor. Very knowledgeable. The tour itself is relatively short with a focus on a little bit of the city’s history and a few of its buildings. Not a thorough tour - see it more like a good teaser.

Johann was a knowledgeable guide, happy to answer all of our questions, including great recommendations for additional places to see. I recommend doing this early on in your visit before charting out other activities in the area.
