Mostraumen Fjord Cruise
Enjoy a 3,5-hour Mostraumen Fjord Cruise from Bergen and experience the magnificent and varied landscapes in the Osterfjord and Mostraumen strait. When sailing out from Bergen's famous Fish Market you will have a great view to some of the oldest and most relevant historical sites in the city, including the medieval fortress Bergenhus, St Mary's church and the colorful Bryggen Hanseatic wharf, which is on UNESCO’s world heritage list. From there, we sail through beautiful Western Norwegian scenery in the City Fjord, Salhus Fjord and Osterfjord towards the stunning Mostraumen Streams. The captain safely steers the boat through narrow sounds, deep fjords, a maze of islands and the powerful currents of the narrow Mostraumen channel.

The Fish Market has a charming location in the heart of the city between the fjords and Bergen's 7 mountains. The Fish Market has since the 1200s been a meeting place for merchants and fishermen. There are also several restaurants serving a large selection of seafood. The indoor Fish Market is open all year and the outdoor Fish Market is open from the 1st of May and during the summer.
