  You won’t get a better tour guide than Kyle! Not only was he a super friendly and personable guide but he was also super informative about Finlands culture and history (learnt more about Finland in three hours than my whole life). He was very thoughtful in taking heaps of drone footage and pictures for us as we explored heaps of trails throughout the beautiful wilderness. A truly unique experience I encourage everybody visiting Finland to try out. Once again, a huge thanks to Kyle for the unforgettable experience (including the sausages and warmed juice!)

  The ski tour with Kyle was the highlight of our stay in Rovaniemi. Kyle is a super dedicated guide who tailors the tour to the guests in every detail. The tour is suitable for beginners, but even for us as experienced cross-country skiers it was a lot of fun to hike with him on skis through the forests. We learned a lot of interesting things about nature and Finland from Kyle. The highlight was the sunset at the lake with super delicious, hot berry juice. It was especially nice that it was a private tour just with us as a family and Kyle. That made the tour very special and personal. Thanks Kyle for the great experience and best regards from Hamburg :)

  As we finished our tour with Kyle, he asked what he could do to improve and we were genuinely stumped – we loved every minute! As a guide, Kyle is friendly, funny and informative. We really valued the opportunity to learn more about Finnish life while we enjoyed the beautiful surroundings on private land away from the crowds. We also felt safe and looked after at all times, with Kyle being sure to check in with us regularly and adapting the tour to suit our needs and preferences (N.B. you don’t need to have skied before to do the tour – it is more of a ‘ski hike’ – and I actually found this a far preferable way to ski than hurtling down a mountain!). We started off heading into snowy forests and frozen marshes, then onto a frozen lake before warming up by the fire. The communication before the tour was excellent and we really appreciated the little bonuses and thoughtful touches, such as getting to meet the family’s reindeer and the delicious snacks and drinks. Kyle has a really refreshing approach to tourism, with a focus on sustainability and looking after the natural environment we’re all there to enjoy. We felt like welcomed guests, not just another couple of tourists. It was also incredible value. If you are thinking of booking with Arctic Fox Expeditions – do it!

  This was the best experience! This is a must do if you are visiting Rovaniemi, you will not regret it! It was such a unique experience and we loved that it was a small group. It made the experience more personalized and fun. Kyle was so kind and made the trip really fun. He gave so many great facts about Finland, it was great to get a cultural experience with it. The skiing was a lot of fun and the scenery was gorgeous! We loved all the trails and are still talking about how much fun we had! It was our favorite excursion our our whole trip!

  Best guide on our trip! I highly recommend booking this experience. Cross country skiing is very approachable and much easier than we anticipated. It is such a unique experience as Kyle takes you through his family's property (forest/lake) and he made it extra special with intermittent stops where you get to try locally sourced food/drinks and hear amazing stories as he is a local to the area. If you are into learning about the culture and life as a local, this is a must do. It is hard not to have a good time with Kyle as he truly is committed to making sure you get the most out of it.

  We had an incredibly beautiful tour through the forest. The weather, by the way, had done its best to present the nature of Finland to us in the most beautiful way. The guide, Kyle, prepared a great route for us and captured the beautiful day with videos of his thrones. Kyle has a great open manner, it was great fun.

  Kyle is an amazing guide who made sure that my mum and I were well taken care of throughout the activity. We enjoyed the walk very much even though the weather wasn’t in our favour (it was -23°C when we were walking). Thankfully, Kyle provided us with hands and feet warmers along with gloves which helped to keep our hands warm! He also took a lot of photos and videos for us while withstanding the extreme cold weather, and for that, we are very appreciative. He is also very knowledgeable in different topics and cultures. We highly recommend that anyone, even if you have no experience, to join on this activity and enjoy the walk with Kyle 😀 Once again, kudos to Kyle for the wonderful and unforgettable experience!

  Just returned after the most fantastic private Lapland tour with Kyle. All the 4 af us are so trilled to have had this experience together with Kyle. The tour takes place on his families private property. From first sign and contact Kyle was the best host EVER telling historical things, his own experiences, good sense of humor, so aware of everything checking in if everybody was OK - which we were. We want to give Kyle 10 out of 10 for the PERFECT day and making us feel like we were in Lapland paradise. Unspoiled beauty and silence of beauty. Ending the day with fireplace and beautiful lake view and local Reindeer sausages made over the fire was also fantastic and authentic. The best way to end the day. We give Kyle our best recommendation and by the heart he’s trying to give everybody a life time experience - and he did!! He underestimates himself, but he’s good… SO GOOD and we wish him all the best in the future and hope, that you will sign up for a tour with Artic Fox Expeditions and Kyle. You will never regret it….
