Haugesund
Jason deCaires Taylor horse scupltures " The rising tides" (moved from London to Haugesund in 2019) and the statue of Harald Hårfagre are both short stops on the cycle tour. Here your guide will describe the history and stories behind the sculptures and statue.
Haraldshaugen
The National Monument is an ode to King Harald Fairhair – the Viking king that unified Norway into one kingdom 1150 years ago. It is believed that Harald Fairhair is buried in this area. Here you will have time to take in both the monument and Korsshaugen, the stone cross that dates back 1000 years.

There is a lot of ground to cover to see all the sites around the town. Also the bridge is a bit of a climb. We found that the EL bikes made exploring super easy. No effort required. You just need to be comfortable on a bike.

This e-bike tour was a fantastic way to explore Haugesund and its stunning coastal paths. The bikes made the ride easy and enjoyable, even on hills, and the guide was friendly, informative, and passionate about the region. We saw beautiful seaside views, learned about local history, and covered much more ground than we could have on foot. A perfect mix of nature, culture, and fun—highly recommended!
