Haugesund
Jason deCaires Taylor horse scupltures " The rising tides" (moved from London to Haugesund in 2019) and the statue of Harald Hårfagre are both short stops on the cycle tour. Here your guide will describe the history and stories behind the sculptures and statue.
Haraldshaugen
The National Monument is an ode to King Harald Fairhair – the Viking king that unified Norway into one kingdom 1150 years ago. It is believed that Harald Fairhair is buried in this area. Here you will have time to take in both the monument and Korsshaugen, the stone cross that dates back 1000 years.

The bike tour was good. A little fast at times, and my elderly mother and sister struggled to keep up. It was a great way to see the sights planned, although a bit more time at some of them would have been nice. The bikes were all good, and I would recommend this trip and company.

Brilliant tour, very well organized. The office is literally next to the cruise ship. The E Bikes were extremely comfy and the additional power was only needed on a few hills. We visited a number of sights in the area and our guide Marika was excellent. She made sure we all stuck together and took us at a sensible pace. It was also really interesting cycling through the residential areas. Just the right amount of information at each stop, and cycling was good fun! We highly recommend this company.

We were in Haugesund as a stop on our cruise and decided that an e-bike tour would be a great way to see the sights. We all had a great time and saw some fantastic places with really knowledgeable guides. We were able to practice with the e-bikes before setting off. The seats did get a little uncomfortable towards the end!

A great way to get a sense of the city. We enjoyed the tour as well as the guide. It was a gang of 20 bikes and a beautiful day for a bike ride.

The E-bike tour was very fun! I did not have prior experience with an electric bike, but the instruction was thorough and the bike was easy to learn to operate. Our guide was fun and helpful. We never would have experienced as much of Haugesund as we did on the tour.

Anders led us on a spectacular tour of the town and the countryside, with stops along the way that provided beautiful photo opportunities and additional information on the town. This was my first e-bike experience and I found them to be easy to learn and a great help as we wound up and down the hills. I’m convinced that there is no better way to experience Haugesund!
