Great for couples, families and friends. This tour includes mixed terrain, some steep ascents and descents, sealed roads through out. Two routes to choose from to suit different fitness levels.
Warning- Electric Mountain biking is very addictive, we ride FURTHER, FASTER HIGHER without the sweat! Once is never enough!

5.00Was offered a self guided ride instead on the crater loop. Navigation very easy and the scenery was awesome. Ebike really helps us to enjoy the ride. My son and I really enjoyed the ride.

5.00This e-bike tour was offered to me as a replacement for the.kayak safari I had booked - weather and wind were too unfavourable for being on the water. I would thoroughly recommend it as an activity to do around Akaroa. There are spectacular views to be had by getting up to the heights above the town, and an ebike is definitely needed to conquer the hills. It isn’t very physically taxing, but I would say that given the steep descents some degree of confidence on a bike is advised to maximize the enjoyment of the experience. My guide, Peter, is normally a kayak specialist but proved equally adept as a guide for the bike tour. He was cheerful and enthusiastic despite the early start and the cold wet blustery conditions, very knowledgeable (especially given that he is not a Kiwi) about the history of the area, Māori culture, the surrounding ocean and wildlife. He was attentive to my comfort and safety. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in his company and can imagine that he would be a great kayak guide as well.

5.00very pleasant trip up in the mountains on both gravel and asphalt roads with fantastic views. Gravel, our guide, was nice and took good care of the group, making sure everyone was comfortable and everything was working. Continuous stops along the road and at the same time guidance around the landscape and history. Clear instructions were given for maximum safety. The bikes were in good condition and the batteries lasted more than enough. Once back, you were not tired even though you had climbed over 700 m above sea level with the bike. Recommended!

5.00We did the Coast Cruze ebike self guide tour and went to the highest peak. It took about 3 hours and quite hilly but no trouble on the ebike. The views and sites we got to see along the way were some of the most beautiful I have ever seen. Allie met us to go through the directions of where to go which she had printed off and handed us our back packs which had everything we needed. She was so friendly and helpful! Highly recommend this experience.
