The journey back up the hill is even more fun with the mini donkey leading the way.

What To Expect
We'll meet just outside the gates of Hacienda222, Puerto Rico's most unique boutique event venue.
We'll hike to the beautiful Playa Princesa, or Princess Beach, below Hacienda222. Stunning tidepools, gorgeous dunes, and nature and photo opps everywhere await.
What‘s Included
We'll provide the knowledgeable local guide, and the donkeys and the fun, you'll bring the rest
Please bring your own drinking water as well as any snacks, as well as a backpack to comfortably carry everything.

5.00This was absolutely incredible! Honestly one of the best parts of our vacation in Puerto Rico! I came as a single Mom with a nine year old & my daughter had a wonderful morning with all the animals !! We hiked with the donkeys, did some beach scavenging & met the most amazing people who guided us the whole way!! Thank you for wonderful memories !! The donkeys will always stay with us, I’m sure we will talk about them long after we are gone - what SWEET creatures :) we also got to meet a mule, cat, two dogs, three cows & heard there was a peahen on the property!! We will be back!!

5.00I chose to go on this tour for my birthday and surprised my family. We were 3 adults. We spent the morning taking a tour of the stunning eco-friendly venue (which also serves as a wedding venue). We were introduced to all of the animals, including the 2 mini-donkeys and 1 mule that were going to accompany us on the hiking tour. We hiked down to the beach area, soaked in the outstanding views, and returned. The mini-donkeys were so well-behaved, friendly, and fun to hang out with. Ashley, our guide, was knowledgeable, teaching us about the area, and made sure the tour went smoothly. I highly recommend! And, I do suggest sneakers or appropriate hiking footwear. Awesome adventure...thanks, Ashley!

5.00This was such an awesome unique experience. I brought my kids and they absolutely loved it! They had so much fun playing with the mini donkeys. There was also an adorable calf where she keeps the mini donkeys. 🥰 The walk down to the beach was so peaceful and such an adventure. I shared this experience with my kids, but it would also be great as a couples excursion, or with some friends.

5.00This was a lovely day, I am a painter, and my interest was to go do some plein air painting during my stay in QuebradillAs. The host walk w me into a quiet beach, early in the morning. I was able to create some artwork, along with some staff that took photo/video of the process. The walk is quite into nature, and the donkeys were a fun company! Looking forward to visit again.

5.00My 10 year-old son and I took this hike and it was an amazing experience. He loved getting to lead the mini- donkeys and told me on the way home that he wants a donkey. The view was amazing the entire hike but nothing could prepare me for coming over the last little sand dune and seeing the beautiful, untouched beach in front of me. Ashley was a great guide telling us about flora and fauna along the way. We had a fantastic time and would love to go again.
