This was a good trip and a great opportunity to see a bit of Belize if staying in Belize City. The pick up was great from the hotel and after an hour or so drive we reached the boat. The river trip was brilliant, they were so keen for us to see the various birds, crocodiles and turtles. Once at the temples we saw numerous monkeys. The boat only had limited cover so protection from the sun or rain is needed (it was very sunny on the way there and then it rained a lot the last 10 minutes of the trip and we got very wet). Whilst at the temples beware there are mosquitos, and a lot of them. Take bug spray, I got bitten a lot, but I wouldn’t let this put you off of all the experiences of this trip. On the river trip we also passed a Mennonite community which was great to see. The lunch provided was lovely. I recommend this trip - it’s a great way to see wildlife, mennonites and obviously the temples!

The Lamanai ruins in the middle of the jungle is a must see and this tour made it possible to enjoy them in a day. Everything worked out without a glitch, we even caught our flight out to San Pedro at 4:40 PM. Our guide, Julien Avila, was knowledgeable and funny without being obnoxious. He never tired of answering our many questions. The Avila family runs this business and everyone in the family pitches in. Julien's mother prepared a wonderful lunch for the group to enjoy at the ruins. His boat captain skills are second to none and he always took the time to stop for interesting animals along the way. We highly recommend this tour and company.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Elio picked us up from the airport as planned. He was charming and answered all of our questions about the people and country. Nate was our boat and tour guide. He was interesting, funny and very well informed. Elio got us safely to a wonderful hotel that he recommended when our accommodations didn’t work out. The whole day was such a memorable experience thanks to these guys!

Elio was excellent communication for booking the night before, offered many local suggestions to explore on our own. Javier was an excellent guide. A very fun and informative day. We were lucky to have the facility nearly to ourselves and saw a lot of monkeys and even a red bracket deer. The lunch was amazing. (Made by their mom). And by far the best rice and beans we've had in Belize.

He picked us up from the hotel and explained every corner of the city with great patience and enthusiasm, all the way until he dropped us off at the boat with our guide Coconut Peter. We saw some animals, visited temples, and really enjoyed the whole experience. I recommend bringing mosquito repellent and being ready in case it rains. Highly recommend Elio for everything! Always ask for him — he speaks both Spanish and English fluently. Tell him you’re coming from the crazy Chilean 😄

Elio was very responsive to my messages about the tour and made it simple to book. He and Javier shuttled us from Corozal to the boat launch for the Lamanai tour. They were delightful, shared interesting information, and answered lots of questions. Our boat captain and tour guide, Emir, was pleasant and helpful. He provided fascinating historical and cultural information throughout our tour. Apparently his wife had prepared lunch, which was delicious: chicken, rice, coleslaw, tortilla chips, and pico (fresh and🌶). Water and Coke were included. On the way back to Corozal, Elio told us more about Belize, other tours, and their availability for transfers. We will definitely use their services again!
