Fabulous day. Enjoyed the views of the high mountains from the village of Naddi - blown away by the vista. The highlight for me was walking through the village, seeing the old-style houses in particular, the tiny farmyards with the goats, cows and calves, locales going about their business. We visited a family and sat in their traditional kitchen, drinking tea and a local dish of spicy vegetable and chutney. Also enjoyed the walk up to the point with hundreds of prayer flags and little rock cairns. My guide was a local who really loves the area and cares about it deeply.

Our guide Vikram S. listened patiently to our questions and answered them all patiently. We stayed in a traditional house of a tribe and the hostess made tea, then a great hike through pine forests and lots more information about Lamd and people. Anytime again!
