You will be collected from Jesselton Point Jetty, Kota Kinabalu and taken into the local marine park - Tunku Abdul Rahman where you will be briefed and taken on three guided snorkelling tours. The maximum group size is six, and your in-water guide will be a RAID Professional, fully trained and insured, making sure your day goes perfectly. There will be two sessions in the morning with one after lunch. We provide masks, snorkels, fins, wet suits and life jackets if required. There is free-flowing drinking water all day, with lunch served on an island.

This tour is suitable for all those wishing to explore the underwater world of Sabah. We ask that all persons be fit and healthy and comfortable in water that is too deep to stand up in.

Borneo Dream skipper and dive guides were great. The quality of coral and fish life was poor. Despite this we had a really enjoyable day and collected plenty of floating plastic.

We had a great day with Alex and Didi who were a fantastic guide and captain. Our guide also helped me take some amazing pictures. We were fortunate enough to see a green turtle, black reef sharks, barracuda, rays and plenty of other fish over the 3 snorkels. While the coral has been impacted over recent years, there is still plenty to see coral and fish life wise. The day was made even better by fabulous weather and visibility. Thanks for a great day! We would have given you six stars but 5 was the maximum we could give.

I’d highly recommend this excursion! We saw so many fish, the coral and a turtle. Unfortunately no shark, but the captain did try. Lunch was very nice & it was also great to be onboard with experienced divers, who could tell us about their exploration. The equipment was all in great condition and it felt really safe. Big shoutout to Amir, our guide, who was fun and helpful, and answered lots of questions. And also the captain, Azmi, who navigated us safely! An amazing day out - just don’t forget to wear suncream 😉

A great experience! Swam with turtles on my 60th birthday! I felt this was a well run trip. 3 Borneo Dreams staff and 8 guests. (1 driver, 1 guide with 7 snorkelers and 1 guide with one diver). Equipment was good and we felt safe at all times on the boat and in the water. We did 3 x 45 mins in three locations off Gaya Island with a basic but adequate lunch after the second one. Lots of lovely fish to see, sting Ray, jellyfish, and three turtles. Sadly, the coral is very bleached but there were some amazing structures and it is a wake up call, along with the disappointing amount of floating plastic bottles on the trip out from the jetty to the island, to look after our oceans. I would highly recommend Borneo Dreams. Their team is great and its excellent value for money for a 9am- 3pm excursion.
