Embark on a Arctic sunlight tour from Tromsø through beautiful landscapes to see the open ocean under the enchanting arctic midnight sun or sunset.
We set sail for the outer coast of Norway where we have an unobstructed view of the ocean and horizon. From here, only the Barents Sea separates us from Svalbard and the north pole.
Along the way we sail along the Kvaløya coastline with sporadically dotted by villages and idyllic boathouses and fish drying racks.
While we take in the sunlight in the Arctic evening, we keep an eye out for birdlife that is particularly lively in the summer. There are even puffins that nest on a few remote islands along the Norwegian coast between May and August.
Throughout the evening, our passionate guides will share stories and insights about nature, wildlife and life in the arctic during the midnight sun.

We set sail along Kvaløya island to the outskirts of the Norwegian coastline. You'll have great views of mountains and the Norwegian coastline.
Pass by the fishing village of Kvaløyvågen. See fish racks from a distance and learn about the fishing industry in the arctic.

5.00The cruise was fantastic, even though the weather was a bit cloudy. The guide spoke clear and very easy-to-understand English. The safety briefing was given right after leaving the harbor. Along the way, the guide told us about the history of the islands. Truly a cruise worth the money, even though we didn’t get to see the sunset.

4.00In a cloudless sky we took this boat trip through the fjord of Tromsø. The crew was friendly and the ship was clean. At the time of booking we were told that there was little food available on the ship, so we brought our own picnic. The description of this cruise stated that the crew members make statements during the voyage. Apart from a very brief reference to a reindeer and also a very brief (and incomprehensible to me) information about a small hamlet, the three travel companions were very discreet. This is not really a problem, only then the travel description should be changed or the staff trained accordingly. Otherwise I can only recommend this trip.

5.00I was not really sure what to expect with a Max of 100 people, but I was pleasantly surprised. With three levels for people to spread out, we never felt like we were in a crowded space. The views were absolutely spectacular and the presentations informative. There were also snacks and beverages to purchase, which for a nearly four hour boat ride certainly made things more comfortable. Overall, this was a wonderful way to see a bit more of northern Norway.
