Moraine Lake
You’ll arrive at Moraine Lake just as the towering Valley of the Ten Peaks reveals itself—jagged, snow-dusted summits mirrored perfectly in water so blue it almost looks unreal. Take in jaw-dropping views of one of the most iconic alpine lakes in the world, with plenty of time to soak it all in—no rushing, no stress. Walk along the shoreline and scenic viewpoints, learning about the area’s geology, wildlife, and Indigenous history as the landscape unfolds around you. Climb the Rockpile viewpoint (optional but highly recommended) for that classic postcard view—arguably one of the best photo spots in the Canadian Rockies. Capture unforgettable photos, whether you’re after wide mountain panoramas, reflections on the water, or quiet moments tucked away from the crowds. Enjoy a slower, more intentional pace, designed to help you truly connect with the place rather than just tick it off a list.
Johnston Canyon
Step into a world shaped by water and time at Johnston Canyon, one of Banff National Park’s most enchanting natural wonders. Follow a scenic canyon trail along turquoise streams and dramatic limestone walls, with elevated catwalks that wind right through the heart of the canyon. Witness powerful waterfalls up close, feeling the cool mist of the Lower and Upper Falls as they thunder through narrow rock corridors. Learn the story of the canyon, from how it was carved by glacial meltwater to the unique geology and ecosystems that thrive here. Enjoy peaceful moments in nature, with opportunities to slow down, listen to rushing water, and take in the forested surroundings. Capture stunning photos of waterfalls, moss-covered cliffs, and crystal-clear pools—beautiful in every season. This experience is equal parts easy adventure and natural wonder, perfect for travelers who want to explore one of Banff’s most accessible yet awe-inspiring landscapes.

BEST tour in Banff. Not only did Robyn take me to all the big sights, but she was always pulling off so we could take some of the best pictures of the park. This was an incredibly knowledgeable tour with so much history and fun stories about the goings on of the wildlife and the people who make the park special. Couldn’t recommend this tour enough!
