We are the first mezcal tour in Puerto Escondido, offering an authentic and immersive experience at the heart of mezcal culture. We collaborate with a family-run distillery that has been crafting mezcal with passion, ensuring traditional expertise and a rich history.
Our passionate team creates a friendly and informative atmosphere where every participant can engage fully and learn about the artistry of mezcal production. This combination of heritage, education, and personal interaction makes our tour a highlight of any visit to Puerto Escondido.

What To Expect
During our activity, travelers will enjoy an engaging experience that unfolds in three parts: 1. Didactic presentation: Start with an overview of mezcal's origins, history, and production process. 2. Guided tour: Explore the distillery and discover the family’s rich heritage and artisanal techniques. 3. Guided tasting: The highlight! Savor 6 artisanal mezcals produced on-site, with a tasting sheet to help you find your favorites. You’ll be in great hands! Antoine and his team will provide insights and answer all your questions for a truly immersive experience. 5.00A really interesting experience learning about mezcal production and tasting many different types of Mezcal. Our guide was passionate about mezcal and its spiritual and magical properties. I appreciated the subtle flavours of the different varieties of agave and really enjoyed the smoky chilli salt made with worms!

5.00Marianna was awesome. She explained the process of making Mezcal in the traditional way. Mr Juan joined in at the end of the tasting and you could really see how passionate he was about the integrity of the Mezcal. They offered many tasting options to the group. I do wish that there had actually been some Mezcal production happening at the time of our visit. That would have made the experience more complete for me.

5.00I was definitely overcharged 0n mezcal purchase 2-250ml bottles,1-750ml mezcal cream and 3 coffee mugs for 2,900 pesos I was rushed and didn't pay enough attention to what I was being charged. So beware

5.00Must book! Mariana’s passion for what she does shows when she taught us about mezcal. I’ve gone on alcohol tours before and don’t usually pay attention. Just go to drink. Theres something about her delivery and the history of mezcal that left me in awe. I walked away with respect for not only the spirit but also the process. Thank you for making such a beautiful tour! & opening it up to all of us to experience!
