What To Expect
Lomé Grand Market (ASIGANME) is a large market in the city of Lomé, the capital of Togo. Located near Lomé Cathedral near the city center, the market often features live African music by local artists. The market, called in French "Grand Marché" (main market), consists of three sections, known locally as Atipoji, Asigame and Assivito.and artists' march golf, The market occupies an entire city block in Lomé. The majority of sellers are women and children. you can see almost all local and international products
Monument de l'Independance
Independence Square, is located in the chic district of Lomé. and in good condition. The 1961 monument, in the center of the square, is logically supposed to be an allegory which symbolizes the independence of the country acquired on April 27, 1960 This flame represents the independence acquired by the country and the light which must enlighten the Togolese people in their march towards the future.

Excellent comprehensive tour of live in Lome

5.00Tao was very professional and spoke really good English in an environment that is French speaking. The tour was comprehensive and left us with a better understanding of life in Lome. He knew all of the stops and knew exactly what to do to navigate the people and the roads. One of the highlights of our tour was the visit to the artist home where we met the artist. Very impressive. Also while we were at the cemetery a funeral procession arrived and we got to witness some customs and rituals. I would recommend this tour for those interest in getting a compressive understanding of Lome.

5.00I had an amazing experience in Togo in January 2026, especially during my trip to Togoville. Our guide was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. From the very beginning, he made me feel safe, welcome, and comfortable, always taking care of every detail of the tour. Thanks to him, I was able to discover so many fascinating places, local traditions, and authentic aspects of Togolese culture that I would never have experienced on my own. 5.00Everything is perfect ... Bedi is very friendly, reliable, knowledgeable, and takes care of everything. What is personally important to me in Africa: here, the guides are not exploited (as with most other companies), but are paid fairly; the lion's share does not end up in the organizer's pocket. So for all activities in Togo and Benin, I would book here.
