This tour is packed with adventure! Expect outstanding views, majestic waterfalls and breathtaking fjords. On this tour you get to experience the cultural viking village in Njardarheimr, cruise through UNESCO World Heritage Site Nærøyfjorden and one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world, The Flåm Railway. The tour is guided until Viking Village, after the village you are self guided on the cruise and the train. You will get all the info you need.
Start time is 8.00 am until 30th of April 2026. From 1st of May until 30th of September 2026 the start time is 9.00 am. In October and the rest of the winter season 2026 the start time is 8.00 am. again. Please view the schedule in order to get the different cruise and train times for 2026.

The tour starts by minibus, and we will not take responsibility if you are too late and miss out on the tour. We recommend you meet up at 15 min. before latest. Meet-up is outside the Tourist Information located at address: Strandkaien 1. You will see Scandic Hotel Torget just across the street. Look for a black Mercedes Sprinter Minibus. 3.00Overall this trip is great but would have liked more time at the Viking village. 30 minutes is nowhere near long enough and we could not see it all in that time. Really disappointed about that. The cruise is excellent as well as the Flam railway trip. They were well worth doing.

5.00I was too late to buy tickets for the Flam Railway from Oslo to Bergen so I was looking for an alternative that would include it, leaving from Bergen. This tour was perfect! Our guide, Thomas, was amazing! As we rode through Norway he shared his observations as a native German who fell in love with the country. There were so many fun and interesting things that I never would have noticed or come across. Because we lucked out with a nice day, he tried out an extra stop that had great views. When we arrived at the Viking Village, which is next to spot where the fjord cruise departs, his job was done and he could have left. Instead, he let us keep our bags in the van while we explored the Viking Village and he waited to make sure we all got on the cruise without a problem. That went above and beyond. He provided a great start to an amazing day exploring Norway. My only regret is that I didn't say a proper thank you or goodbye as we rushed to grab a coffee and board the cruise. I also really enjoyed the Viking village. I was a little worried it would be geared more towards children but it wasn't and it was fun to learn about how things were back in the days of the Vikings. The rest of the day went smoothly and I would definitely recommend this tour!

4.00The day was beautiful but we had some transportation issues at the start that threw the did our confidence all morning. Hence the time at the Viking Village got shortened by a lot. We felt after that we could have done the whole experience more economically. But the views, experience was a “do not miss” experience.

5.00The tour was excellent and planned well. We knew exactly what the itinerary was and what we needed to do. The drive up to Gudvangen was great and we got to learn more about the area from our tour guide. Viking village was a fun and educational stop and the fjords are breath taking. The Flåm railway is historical, so yes it is dated, but that is part of the charm and only added to the experience for us! Overall, each stop was wonderful and the tour was very well planned out. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole trip, thank you for a wonderful and unforgettable day!
