What To Expect
Fes El-Bali
Morning: Meet your guide at Bab Boujloud, the iconic gate of the Medina. Visit the Bou Inania Madrasa and the University of Al Quaraouiyine, one of the oldest in the world. Stroll through the Attarine Souk and stop at Place Seffarine, known for its metalworkers. Visit the Nejjarine Museum, dedicated to Moroccan woodcraft. Lunch: Enjoy a traditional Fassi meal in a local restaurant. Afternoon: Explore the Chouara Tanneries and pass by the Royal Palace (exterior view). Walk through the Mellah, the historic Jewish quarter. Climb to Borj Nord for a panoramic view of the city. Visit a pottery village or a ceramic cooperative to see local artisans at work. End of the day: Return to the Medina or unwind on a rooftop terrace.

5.00Great tour of the Fes Medina. My wife and I saw a lot of things we’d never have found without Bashir. He also showed us a few things outside of the medina, like the Jewish area, and gave us lots of historical information.
Excellent overview of the importance of Fez now and in the past.

5.00Great tour with Mohammad, lots of interesting history and he encouraged all my questions! We were able to see so much in just two hours, and got a unique extra at the end when he took us to see a local Riad in the process of renovation which was brilliant. Felt very welcome everywhere we went!
