I will guide you on a gorgeous route in Morwenstow taking us through some of the Southwest's most remote, wild and spectacular terrain which has a rich and fascinating history. This circular route packs in a lot of different elements and includes a section along some of Cornwall's highest and wildest clifftops, follows a secluded hidden valley, and passes through peaceful meadows and ancient churchyards. Along the way you we will take in the incredible views, stop at some amazing local spots and learn about the rich and wild history of an area best known for shipwrecks, smuggling and eccentric poets. We will pass through Morwenstow church and it's spectacular clifftop setting and stop at Hawker's hut, a tiny shelter set into the cliff face which was built out of shipwrecked wood in 1843. The route will take between 1.5 and 2.5 hours depending on walking pace. Please be aware there are some steep sections.

Walking and biking is delightful around Cornwall. Find David and you will have the guide that has humor, history and a long history of trekking around the area. This was a wonderful experience and I stayed at the tiny house on the farm. This was an added benefit and remote and yet close to a wonderful pub.

My partner and I spent two days and three nights in North Cornwall & Devon with David, the most generous and knowledgeable local guide you'd ever want to meet and hope to call friend! We stayed at an adorable Tiny House on a local farm and David collected us each morning for a full day of hiking the beautiful trails along coastal paths and inland forests. Breathtaking vistas, at a proper pace, we really benefitted from David's local knowledge and love of his native land. Thank you, David. I cannot recommend highly enough you book with this lovely human! I'd give an infinite number of stars, way about the 5 stars allocated!

Loved this! Dave is a top guy and great fun to run with. He planned a route based around my abilities that took in some lovely scenery that I wouldn’t have otherwise seen. Would definitely recommend and when I’m next in the area, I’ll be contacting him for another run!

Very nice and relaxed trailwalk through the hills of Bude and Morwenstow with excellent guiding from David. After having some trouble to find his contact details we got hold of him via the lovely ladies of the Tourist Information Centre in Bude. Who helped us out contacting him. Beautiful views over the sea and hills. David takes his time to show you everything and also tells you the story that goes with it.

What a great experience! David is a wonderful host. This was possibly the most breathtaking walk my husband and I have ever been on (we are not great walkers but he’s very patient!) finished by a cream tea and a celebratory pint at the Bush Inn. We will definitely be back!

I ended up having a one-to-one guide to walk with David Myers.Absolutely Fabulous so friendly so informative and didn't care how many questions I asked. He asked me what I wanted from the walk before we started and then tailored the wall for me, stopping when it I needed to and basically I can't fault it and would definitely will be booking again. Will be recommending highly to my friends and family Well done David Myers

We were given Dave’s details by the lovely people at the Bude Visitor Centre. We were looking for a guided walk off the beaten track and to learn a bit about the local area. Dave more than delivered. On two days we went for beautiful walks, tailored to suit us. The Cornwall and Devon coastline is stunning and walking with Dave allowed us to see it in a way we would never have found for ourselves. Dave is a very interesting character and very knowledgeable about the local area. The perfect guide if you want to see something a bit different. We will hopefully be back in the area and wont hesitate to walk with Dave again.
