What To Expect

The tour-guide will accompany you in every room and exhibit, mostly at the sections about WWII and Communism era explaining what you'll see at each pavilion because at the museum not everything is translated in english. (Open Tuesday – Saturday 09.00 – 17.00; Price: €5/Person).

Unknown Partisan Monument

The Unknown Partisan Monument is a war memorial dedicated to the wariars that fell during WWII. The Monument is a great example of socialist realism, and depicts a soldier raising his right hand waving troops forward while holding a rifle in his left. This is a perfect spot to talk about the glorification of the partisan war and the ways dictator Enver Hoxha used it to condemn his political rivals.
