This is an amazing experience as you learn more about the African wildlife their behavioural traits in their natural habitat. Get up close and personal with wild animals what a better way than actually walking in the bush. The rangers will share their extensive knowledge and tails of the bush.
On this bush walk, you are accompanied by a qualified ranger and safari guides who will make sure you are safe all the time. Please note our pick up time for this tour is 6:00am

Ukutula Conservation Center
A guided bush walk gives you an exciting opportunity to experience the African wildlife in a way that most people would never imagine. Enjoy an early morning guided bushwalk. This adventurous experience includes a guided walk with lions, watching from a distance lions at the waterhole is an option if you don’t prefer the bush walk. Take a lunch break and enjoy a walking tour through the Lion camp and cheetah camp. Cub interaction is available subject to availability of the cubs. Please note pick up time for this tour is 6 am It's a 2 hours drive from Johannesburg to Ukutula Game Reserve Starting time to this tour is flexible according to your preference.

5.00Absolutely unforgettable. Walking with the lions was equal parts humbling and awe-inspiring—being that close to such powerful, majestic animals puts life into sharp perspective. The guides were knowledgeable, calm, and deeply respectful of the lions, which made the experience feel safe and intentional rather than touristy. It was one of those rare moments that reminds you how extraordinary the world is when you step outside your comfort zone. Truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. 🦁✨

5.00This was truly a great experience! The guides were great with their safety briefings and made sure everyone got a chance to interact with the lions, cubs, and cheetah! We felt safe the entire time and there were breaks between each interaction which was nice. I must admit I was nervous about doing this excursion but it was a bucket list check for my wife so we did it and I'm glad that we did!! Would definitely suggest the staff at Ukutula to enjoy this experience with!

5.00Walking with lions is an amazing experience! We did my mom and I, very well guided by the support team. Without a doubt, a fascinating experience! Unfortunately, we did not have the interaction with the puppies (there were only 2 puppies, one very young and another that was sick), but it was very worth it!

5.00Once in a lifetime kind of experience! All the workers were very kind and helpful along with the guides being super knowledgeable about the animals. The driver and guide, Thabang, was very knowledgeable on the area and friendly. Amazing experience!

5.00All the tour guides were were excellent. Starting with our driver Dennis who picked us up at 6am and drove us 2hr to the tour. He also gave us a mini tour on the way explaining different part of the city as we rode through. Once we reached the lion reserve everything was fully explained and they got the group comfortable enough to walk with the Kings of the jungle. We then went on the Predator tour where we were allowed to pet some lion cubs and a cheetah. I recommend this tour for everyone

5.00The experience was 1 in a million. If you come to Johannesburg I advise you to book this through Tourgy Tourz! My driver Dennis was right on time at my hotel for pickup & on the way to the Lodge explained to me the different cities/cultures surrounding the area. And Dennis is an amazing driver hahah
