From the centrally located Waterfront to the quiet bays and panoramic lookouts, you’ll be enthralled from start to finish. These quality electric bikes are easy to use and suitable for any level of fitness. If you can ride a bike, you can ride an eBike! Your guide will keep you safe with helmets provided and full riding instruction. The tour is lighthearted, fun and engaging with the focus on riding and finding the best view points. You’ll get a local’s perspective on the culture and history of our vibrant city and surrounding bays. This tour mainly rides around the Wellington's stunning bays, with minimal city riding.

Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
Riders must be comfortable riding a bicycle on the road (mix of path, on-road cycle lane and regular roads)
Riders must advice height if under 59 inches (150cm)
Remember sunscreen in summer
Please dress appropriately- bring an extra layer in case or wind
Moderate fitness advised- pedalling activates the electric assist
Age Restriction: 13 Years
The tour requires a minimum of two people to operate. We will contact you prior to your tour time if the minimum number is not met.
Riders should be comfortable with some physical exertion when riding electric bikes up hill

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Wellington Waterfront
We ride down the Wellington Waterfront from our store toward Oriental Bay. The Waterfront is bustling on a sunny day and we ride on shared paths.

5.00Wonderful day seeing area on bikes. We were picked up at terminal and taken to bike shop which helped because shop a bit off beaten path. Our guide was excellent as well. Saw alot of area and even were treated to icecream afterwards at a cool old theatre.

5.00This tour is an absolute must. Really enjoyable. Bikes were well maintained. Extra clothing available if needed. Guides were making sure we were all OK during the tour. Loads of information during the ride. Absolutely loved the day. Included is a drink or ice cream, which was a bonus. I did the 4 hour tour, loved every minute. Thank you 😊

5.00This was a great bike ride. Went up to the water tanks and had a wonderful view. Ebikes are awesome. Pedal as much or as little as you want. It was pretty windy - when it was a side wind you really had to careful but the guide warned us of this. Don’t hesitate to- easy and great ride with an e-bike.

4.00A very enthusiastic young guide showed us in particular the waterfront and the coast of Wellington Bay. Along the way explanations and history from the Maori to the settlers to the recent earthquakes and the latest wild life project. The electric bike makes it easy despite that one hill and especially the strong gusty wind. Good bikes, great helmets and if you want visibility vest

5.00We had a fabulous trip. Jack was very knowledgeable and made the trip very interesting. Easy cycling except for one steep hill, which wasn’t a problem at all on an e-bike. The ice cream towards the end was also a nice touch. Would highly recommend!
