What To Expect
Ha Giang - Pacsum Pass - Heaven Gate - Nam Dam Village - Yen Minh -Tham Ma Pass - Hmong king Palace - Dong Van
Ha Giang
At 8 am you will have breakfast at our homestay at 8.30 then you will meet our tour guide and open air Jeep Driver then you will get brief our tour itinerary from our guide, first we start driver outside of the city for 10 minutes you start to see amazing landscape with beautiful mountain and villages, and our first beautiful pass you will stop to see the beautiful valley and landscape at Pac Sum pass, then continue to Visit Heaven gate, with over 1300 m above sea level to see panorama view of mountain range and valley, villages, then contiue to visit Nam Dam Village, and continue to see most amazing pass is trang kim and Can Ty Pass, stop for lunch at the local restaurand at 12.30 pm
Yen Minh
13.30 we finish lunch and start our adventure again our open air jeep will driver pass Yen minh Town then driver up to Tham Ma Slope to see amazing road with 9 step, see spectacular of the mountain and valley then continue to Pho Cao
Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark
around 15.30 pm our open air jeep will take you to visit Hmong King Palace, where you can see and learn the history of the Hmong King palace and family that interesting story 16.10 leave Hmong King palace go to Dong Van town for stay over Night

After a delicious breakfast we leave Dong Van Town our open-air Jeep Tour will take you to see the most beautiful part of the whole journey, located on the Happiness Road connecting the towns of Dong Van and Meo Vac, Ma Pi Leng Pass. The legendary pass is well known for its craggy cliffs and breathtaking views. It is the most ragged pass in the north, often referred to as the “king” of the passes in Vietnam! The whole road is winding through the cliffs and overcomes Ma Pi Leng pass at an altitude of 2,000 meters.
Ma Pi Leng Pass
stop at the panorama view point To show you the full beauty of the pass, we will Ride down the breathtaking Sky Path to admire the scenery of the whole valley and Nho Que River. From the amazing mountain viewpoint, you will be able to experience a 360°, then ride to see the panorama of Ma Pi Leng Pass and take unforgettable pictures. Standing on the peak of the pass, you will feel overwhelmed by the majestic space of mountains and rivers.
Du Gia
We will continue our journey to more distant villages. From there, you will know how people live in remote parts of Vietnam. We will drive through the villages of Lung Ho, Mau Due, and Meo Vac, where we will have a pit stop for lunch and drink. From Meo Vac Town we will continue through the mountainous trail road area of Ha Giang province to Du Gia Village with an amazing landscape and famous village there are 7 ethnic minorities live at the same village, and you will see colorful villages, and a lot of cultures, where we will spend over at homestay with Tay Minority Family, and enjoy dinner and happy water with family
Day 3: Du Gia – Duong Thuong Village -Terrace paddies Valley - Bac Me Nationa road – Ha Giang City - Hanoi

After Beakfast and say goodbye to the host of our homestay then get on our open Jeep Air continue our Journey again, our last day still bring you the amazing feeling about nature and landscape, our journey today we will take the road back to Ha Giang. But it doesn’t mean end of attractions! After two hours of driving we will reach famous Valley where you can see amazing of the terraces of the rice paddies We will cross Nam Cang Village and see amazing of the lanscape . Some people say it looks like fairy’s breasts! After crossing Sky Gate we will be back to Bac Me national road . After adventerous ride we will be back to Ha Giang afternoon. on time for you take bus or limousine back to Hanoi or you can take night bus, or afternoon limousine back to Hanoi depend of your time and what you want to do after our tour

5.00This was a fantastic experience and i highly recommend it. Our tour guide, Vincent, was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. He has excellent English and explained all the sights, the building of the road, how the villages lived etc etc It was fascinating, beautiful and educational all at the same time. We were in a jeep as I dislike motorbikes and we were glad we made this choice. We had a very experienced and competent driver, had music of our choice, the jeep was comfortable and we had frequent stops to enjoy the views. So, thank you Authentic Ha Giang, and especially Vincent, for such an enjoyable 3 days. Bernie, Steve & Ewan

5.00We did the Ha Giang loop tour in a jeep in october 2025 with Mr. Huy as guide and Mr. Hai as the driver. It was an amazing experience to see fantastic mountains and the beautiful coutryside while travelling in the jeep. This is a part of the country which should be in the bucket list of anyone that enjoys natural beauty of the mountains. We had two night stays in different places and the homestays were excellent and even surpassed 3-star hotels in location and comfort. All this was possible thanks to our fantastic guide Mr. Huy and the driver Mr. Hai, who did everything possible to make our journey memorable. Both of them are locals and have in depth knowledge of that area. As a result, over and above the usual places in the loop, we could visit remote villages and meet a Hmong lady in her house, venture into an abandoned limestone cave and go through unusual routes thereby avoiding the big crowds and at the same time getting a taste of authentic Vietnam. They went above and beyond their call of duty to make the trip really comfortable, safe and memorable for us. They are extremely friendly, polite and helpful in every possible way and I would recommend the Ha Giang loop tour with Mr. Huy as a guide and Mr. Hai as a driver most strongly and without any hesitation.

5.00Fabulous trip seeing the beautiful mountains in style. Hoang looked after us like princesses. Thong was a very safe driver. Both were lovely guys and we had a fun trip with them. Plenty of stops to take photos, enjoy the scenery and a coffee. Highly recommended.

5.00We had three lovely days on the Ha Giang Loop - the views were breathtaking! The scenery is stunning! The homestays we stayed at were absolutely lovely and every meal was yummy Vietnamese food. Our guide Hoang and our driver Thang were fantastic - they took care of us like princesses and knew the best spots for photos. They also were caring and attentionate: they noticed when we wanted to take a photo on the road and slowed down the car so we could take the perfect pic. And bonus, they were great company 😁 The roads were quite rough so we were very glad to be in a comfy open air jeep and not on a motorbike! I highly recommend this tour!

5.00This jeep tour is highly recommended. The route and nature are beautiful and you have plenty of time to take nice pictures. Along the way we stayed in good homestays. Our guide Vincent told us all about what we saw along the way and the driver Thang guided us very well on all roads!

5.00It was a great experience. We went at the end of the rainy season and were very happy with a roof over our heads. In the jeep you do feel like you are sitting outside because it is open on all sides. Really a great experience. Of course also driving an old army jeep is just really fun! Our guide Vincent has told us everything about the population, the origin of the people and villages to what kind of vegetables are grown. All the questions were answered well. In addition, we got a very safe feeling with our driver Thang. He took us everywhere at an appropriate pace! Really a super nice experience, well cared for overnight stays and well worth the money!

5.00We decided to do the jeep tour due to an knee issue and im so glad that we did. Vincent came and met us from our hostel on time and was so friendly and welcome where we went to meet our driver Ian. The jeep was so fun as you could feel the wind and see everything and Ian was a pro and getting over the roads, especially with all the rain and typhoons that happened a few days before. We visited some incredible spots, Vincent took some great photos of us as a couple and we are some really delicious food! They were great at checking in that we were okay and if we needed to stop of a coffee, drink or bathroom there was no issues. They also wrapped our bags up to keep dry. The homestays were clean, and chilled with a fun vibe and it was great to meet up with other people. As the tour during the day wasnt overcrowded at all. We had a private room which was perfect and the showers were all so hot!! Please remember to bring cash to buy drinks throughout the trip. Overall the guys; Ian and Vincent made this trip and the views are unbelievable.

5.00Very nice trip made with an open jeep. I did the 4 days/3 nights tour. Accommodation was very good. The driver (Nhat) was really perfect. Didn't drive too fast, but not too slow either. The guide (Do) was also good and spoke good English. The food that came with everything was also tasty and lots.
Do not miss this experience. And ask for Ben!

5.00The 3 day jeep tour was one of my best travel experiences. The whole experience was at a great pace, regular stops and lots of amazing experiences. Accomodation was great, plenty of food, we never finished all the food on the table. Some of the most amazing scenery in the world. Ben our guide was amazing. He was so happy and helpful. Great English and he really made our trip. He made us feel like a King and Queen. Thank you Ben.
