  • Once in a lifetime experience

    - Review from Tripadvisor

I recently did the 4 day Ha Giang loop with Odyssey and it was genuinely one of the best experiences of my life. We were very lucky with the weather, it was dry and mostly a doable level of heat (aside from two hours in the day), so we could enjoy the views as we rode with our easy riders. Although there was a language barrier with my driver, he had a very kind energy and I felt very safe with him. I could not get over how beautiful the mountains were and we had several opportunities to swim in rivres/waterfalls and learn about the culture in the area. I would do this loop again in a heartbeat if the opportunity arises. Finally, if you do decide to do this, please tip your drivers at the end! It's of course voluntary but driving for four days in the heat, day in and day out, is very labour intensive, so they really deserve it!!

There are not enough words to describe this trip. If I had to say one word about it, I would simply say gratitude. It was a wonderful experience that I will never forget in my life. All the guides and my own Bao were all a fantastic team that made our trip unique. They were all professional, took care of our safety and managed to keep our spirits up all the time. Ga is a fantastic tour guide and a very grateful person. Thank you odyssey, thank you Ha Giang, thank you Vietnam.🙏💪☀️♥️

  • My awesome experience with Odyssey!

My experience with Odyssey was incredible. We were a small group which made the whole experience more intimate. All easy drivers were very friendly and made sure to take us on a safe journey at all times. My easy driver Ha was very friendly and helpfuland always checked in to see how I am doing. Linh Fire, our Guide was always funny and cheerful from the first minute until the last and brought a positive vibe to the group!! The evenings were always fun, there was always the option to drink something, however if you didn’t want to it was always totally fine! We sang karaoke and had a good time with the guides and other guests and those who wanted could still go out to town! As a 25 y/o who was not too interested in being in a huge group, this experience was perfect as you made good connections with the other members of the group and had a more personal experience. We were 7 at the start and only 4 at the end! The honestays were always very nice and welcoming! I can definitely recommend going with Odyssey again! :)

Truly my favorite experience in all of Vietnam. An amazing mix of chill and fun. The team leads, Tom and Niem, were friendly, spoke good English, and genuinely enjoyed what they were doing. My driver, Nyah, was a big highlight too - helping me get on/off the bike at every stop, taking off my helmet, and sharing his speaker so we could listen to music together. Seriously an incredible experience with Odessey! Highly recommend the four day experience too - the cave at the end was well worth it.
