We recently did a trekking + Ha Giang loop tour with YESD and were blown away by their service level and professionalism. We like YESD's mission of responsible tourism while supporting the local community and empowering locals with employment. A portion of the profits also directly go back to supporting the communities and local infrastructure. Our stay at Mr. Thien's homestay was amazing! The place was homey and relaxing. Mr. Thien and the people working there were so friendly, warm and hospitable. Our trek in Thon Tha was guided by Mr. Lim. Having grown up in the area, he was able to give us a more immersive experience and told us about the different flora and fauna we saw along the way. The views were breathtaking! Our 2 day Ha Giang loop tour was an easy rider option with Tung and Van. They made us feel comfortable and safe the entire time. You can tell they are very experienced drivers. They also made sure we got vegan meals each time we ate. This tour was also private which we loved! We saw some of the other rider groups that ranged from 6-12 people. Definitely not something for us. We are glad we got a private experience and that we could take our time at the rest and photo stops. We even had a short 1.5hr trek in the back trail away from the main road which was so nice! We enjoyed our short time with them. Lastly, Ha Tran at the front office was so helpful throughout the booking process. She was available on whatsapp to answer any questions I had. Our luggage was delayed coming to Hanoi by a few days and we were debating potentially shifting our tour by a day or so. Within a day's notice she prepared a new itinerary for us! Although we decided to go with our original plan (without our luggage), Ha was so helpful and understanding! Highly recommend YESD! Thanks Ha Tran and team!

I joined the 2-day Ha Giang trekking tour, and it was an amazing experience. The scenery was stunning — rice terraces, mountains, and peaceful villages everywhere. My local guide was friendly and knowledgeable, sharing great insights about the culture and nature. Staying with a Tay family in a traditional home was a highlight, with delicious meals and warm hospitality. A perfect mix of trekking and local life — highly recommended!

It was very well organised and everything was perfect. I did both a trek in Ha Giang as well as guided motorcycle ride of the Ha Giang loop. The driver that the agency arranged for me to take me to and from Ha Giang to Hanoi was very nice and helpful The home stay and the family were amazing. Very friendly. clean room hot water very tasty food. Very nice and authentic scenery in the village. The guide was excellent. He did everything so I can feel safe and happy. Very cautious driver and I truly had amazing time The agency kept constantly in touch with me to see that everything was ok. I was also happy to learn that their mission is to help develop ethnic minorities in the areas which I traveled and they share with them the earnings. Amazing tour company. I definitely recommend and will come again soon to explore with them other parts of Vietnam

We had two amazing days hiking and exploring the Ha Giang area. The tour was perfectly organised and we stayed in a beautiful homestay. Our tour guide was from the village we stayed in and knew everything about the valley, people and culture. We learned a lot and the tour was adjusted to our needs and fitness level. Thanks to the yesd team for the amazing organisation!

I had an amazing time in the North of Vietnam with Yesd Travel! Thanks to them I appreciated the authenticity of this region and I would recommend them to anyone going to Vietnam, they are really there for you! Moreover, doing the Ha Giang Loop with a private tour with them will allow you to appreciate even more the culture and the landscapes of the area

Very good experience! Very attentive agency that takes great care of its customers. We were a group of 4, our guide spoke English with a strong Vietnamese accent (and we both had a strong French accent 😅). As my English is very average I had some difficulty understanding, but the other 3 managed a little better. I spoke with other guides of the agency, they did not have an accent, so consider possibly specifying if your English is average 😉. After the trek I forgot my cap in Ha Giang, the agency managed to send it to me in Sapa in 24 hours via a bus.

The trip was amazing! Ms. Ha, gave us all the support and caring in organising our trip! The tour has been beautiful, we really appreciate the organisation, the authenticity of the places where we went (homestay, restaurants, handcraft markets, etc.) and, of course, the beautiful views that the tour offered to us! The guides, Thang and Duan, have been really nice and drived us in hidden gems! Highly recommended!!

This trek was, quite literally, a highlight of a lifetime of traveling. The views of terraced rice fields, water buffalos, moss-covered houses, and distant peaks was simply spectacular. My hiking companions and I were joking about needing to stop YET AGAIN to take more pictures - we couldn't stop! YESD did a wonderful job of coordinating everything, from pairing us with a lovely, knowledgeable guide to providing comfortable lodging with delicious meals. Our luncheon with a local family on a long hike up the mountain was truly memorable - the family who hosted us couldn't have been more welcoming, making it a comfortable experience by which to share our respective cultures just a little bit. Same warm welcome from the wonderful family who operated our homestay, where we spent our overnights and took our morning and evening meals. YESD took care of everything along the way, fully earning our trust and appreciation. The hikes were strenuous, to be fair, but never overwhelming, and through breathtaking scenery. Highly, highly recommended!

Ha from YESD was so wonderfully communicative and arranged a trekking tour to suit our needs. She answered all our questions promptly. The Ha Giang region is unbelievably stunning and it was so peaceful to trek through the countryside. Our homestay was comfortable and clean and our hosts were friendly and cooked amazing meals. The lunches on the trek were also delicious and our guides were friendly and knowledgeable. I’d recommend this tour to anyone. Just be clear about how many hours you want to walk each day and they will arrange it!
