Experience the most amazing views in all of Hawai'i: the sunrise atop Haleakala! After sunrise, you will leisurely ride custom Kona bikes from 6,500 ft. down the mountain for 20 miles of pure joy! We do the Switchbacks twice! before shuttling you down to Makawao to finish the bike ride to Haiku.

What To Expect
Witness one of nature's most amazing moments as the sun comes up over the horizon atop the summit of Haleakala. After sunrise we make 2 stops within the Park. One is a Historic site, and at a secondary Visitor Center. Guests will begin their self-guided tour from the 6,500-ft. level just outside of the National Park entrance. Guests experience an epic 15mile bike ride down the volcano all while going at YOUR pace and not that of a group, or convoy. You will enjoy the world renowned "Fabulous 29 switchbacks". You then meet the shuttle that will then take you through Upcountry Maui to a location just above Makawao Town. You will be Biking through the Upcountry Town of Makawao and continue Biking back to Haiku. You can enjoy a "No Host Breakfast" in either Makawao, or Haiku. 5.00We left our condo an 2 am to arrive at 3. It sounds like a sacrifice but it was well worth it. Beautiful sunrise, focus on safety, great tour guide. But the extras made it special. First, Don gave us history and sense of place with a large dollop of humor. You need that early in the morning. Second, a surprise side trip gave us what will be one of my 5 all-time favorite photos. Well worth the investment of time, energy and money!

5.00Great experience. We were bust 40 miles up 10,000 feet where we watched the sun come up from inside the rim of a volcano. We were above the clouds. Wish I could share pictures.

5.00We loved Cory because he was personable and very knowledgeable of the history and culture of Haleacale and of the island itself. He was able to connect with tired sleeping people in the middle of the night and throughout our time with him. We also loved Larry because he was very personable, friendly and helpful as we navigated our bike trip during the unguided bike tour!

5.00What an incredible experience! The sunrise.... the bike ride down... it was breathtaking. Dress warm for the sunrise and remove layers as you ride down the volcano.
