What To Expect
Shai Hills Resource Reserve
Drive through the park to observe some primates such as zebras, ostrich, antelopes and baboons. Also hike up based on your capacity some of the 4 ancestral hills and caves located here. Aside other reasons you will learn that this area offered a protection from the enemies of the Shai occupants especially slave raiders. This tour involves some amount of hiking and climbing a hill.

5.00I enjoyed the excursion. Prince, the driver, was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of great information with me. I didn’t get to see a lot of animals but I learned a great deal. The park ranger was also very knowledgeable & entertaining. Would recommend,

5.00Our driver and guide Alex was fantastic, gave us great insights into the area and was overall just a pleasure to hang out with. We had a dedicated guy from Shai Hills who joined us who was very friendly and knowledgable. We enjoyed this experience so much that we booked on for a second tour a couple days later. Couldn't recommend the company more! We will definitely be booking more trips next time we're in Ghana.

3.00The climb up the hill was so much fun. I didn't think I could do it but I did. Thank you to my guide who helped me over some rocks. The climb down reminded me when I used to repel. I saw one Antelope and a lot of Baboons. The lamdscape was beautiful.

5.00This trip was amazing! I only had one day to explore Accra so I decided to take this trip. My tour guide, Kelvin was great! Being from the US, he made sure to give me as much of the history of Ghana as he could and it was a fantastic snap-shot of Ghanaian history! The tour at Shai-hills was also a lot of fun! A little bit of climbing adventures mixed with tales of the tribes’ past. Definitely worth the trip!
