  So great! The guides were fun but also experienced. I felt very safe, and the views were beautiful. I only wish we could have been out there longer - we went at the end of the season, so the river was low and we had lots of float time and not a ton of rapids.

  Awesome rafting experience our guide was amazing!! Saw elk swimming across the river and beautiful views! The river was a little low adding some extra challenges Emma taught us how to handle every situation.

  What a FUN experience!! Our guide, "Captain Kirk" was excellent and prepared us well for this experience on the river. Emails ahead of time were helpful and clear. The staff were outstanding and were great at making safety a priority without dampening the fun. We would do this again in a heartbeat!!

  “Sleepy” Nate was a great guide, made low water flow a great adventure and a fun time. 3 of us in the boat, and none fell in!!!

  We had such an incredible time on this rafting tour. It was my girls (9 and 11) first time white water rafting and Craig made the experience so easy, comfortable, secure and most importantly fun! It is a day we all will never forget. It was the perfect level of adventure but not scary for them or me, since I was the one with slippery bum that almost fell in quite a few times. He was so patient and encouraging with the kids and even offered everything he had out of his bag on the bus trip home cause they were freezing. This will definitely be an anual thing for us on our Colorado vacation. Thank you all for such great service!

  Although the water was low (completely out of the companies hands) we still ventured out and hit some level 3 rapids - we're beginners at this so it was ideal. I'll be looking forward to coming back and sampling same higher level antics! Andy and Nate our tour guides and raft captains were fantastic. They broke down the commands and techniques coherently and were thorough with the safety aspects of the adventure. We were outfitted with life vests, helmets and water shoes - all adequate for the task and clean. I would highly recommend this team. Regards Craig and Charlotte

  We’ve worked with this rafting company before. And generally they do a very good job. Unfortunately, we had a really bad guide this time around. His name was Andy and he was terrible. Our three teens went and it was a big deal for them to go on their own for the first time. They said it was really bad, and that he was rude and just generally hostile. Unfortunately, we had already prepaid the tip, so basically paid for lousy service. Definitely not what I expected.

  Our family of five had the best time on our white-water rafting trip! Charlie was our guide, and he was absolutely awesome! He was entertaining, knowledgeable, and above all made sure we all had a great time! We definitely recommend AAE and will book another trip when we are back in Colorado!
