Manuel our driver and guide was quite a gentlemen as he traveled the roads providing historical fun facts regarding Puerto Rico. Then off toi a native detectable lunch venue where we ate and enjoyed conversation about our excursion.

We booked Jerry’s Adventures (Cultural Tour of Puerto Rico) based upon several friends recommendations and it did not disappoint. There were 8 of us and it was a fun day of visiting multiple parts of the island (Old San Juan, historical sights, parks and mountains with awesome views and a cultural Puerto Rican meal). We had a lot of opportunities to ask questions and take some great photos. Manual was our guide and he was very knowledgeable and accommodating. If you want to have a quick history lesson about Puerto Rico, don’t miss this tour.

Awful excursion. First off my clients, a party of 6 ranging of ages 82, 79, 60’s and upper 50’s. 3 handicapped. The van was not what was expected, beat up, no air conditioning, torn seats, couldn’t see out of the windows , basically not maintained, smelt due to wet life jackets left in the back on the seats, which my client put on the floor to sit, broken ice chest on the seats, case of water on the seats, plus most of the waters were opened when one of my guest was passing them out. Francisco the driver was nice but was not helpful nor personable. No step stool offered until the end of the excursion. My guests felt rushed felt like did not see what others reported who had taken this excursion. The lunch stop was not what they had expected and they were being pushed to buy the food, where some were not hungry or wanted to share. This was an option if you wanted to buy. Overall a very unpleasant experience for the price. The excursion was long being it was hot and uncomfortable van, hard to get in and out.

Opportunity to see and learn about the real Puerto Rico. Took mountain roads , saw many other areas and saw old San Juan as well. Our guide, Francesco gave us many insights into both the daily lives of Puerto Rican citizens and historical events that shaped what Puerto Rico is today. A sampler lunch of Puerto Rican dishes was delicious (cost not included). Not many stops. Mostly a driving tour. Three stops including lunch. There was a huge traffic jam day of our tour because of a local event so we were a bit delayed getting started. However, Francesco kept us updated frequently. Communication was Excellent. It was what we were looking for and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Manuel made our tour amazing! My husband, granddaughter, and I took this tour November, 2025. We drove around the metro and learned interesting facts about Puerto Rico. We stopped at a beach across from Old San Juan where we saw iguanas. We drove up in the mountains to a scenic viewpoint. We ate authentic Puerto Rican food at a restaurant. Manuel even made a song for us about our trip. Small group tour. Laid back.

Jerry our driver & guide was excellent. He gave us a knowledgeable breakdown of SJ’s history. Also well as a really informative view of life as a resident. The views from the mountains were spectacular. He was very friendly, personable, happy to stop anywhere we wanted to and answer our questions. We have no hesitation in recommending him to others.
