5.00A two hour deep dive into the past (violent) and present (political/social) troubles of Belfast. Told with wit and wisdom by a fellow who lived it. Brendan was a marvelous guide and managed to convey a detailed picture of the horror of the conflict while offering a hopeful message about the future. Do not miss!

5.00We met Ricky and he gave us a lovely welcome and proceeded to give us a much needed reminder of Irish history ….we had forgotten a lot since our school days so it was a great backdrop to the tour. He was very engaging and the pace and depth of the information was perfect. He was very open and balanced about the “troubles” in Northern Ireland. 5.00To have our own driver with so much information to share was amazing. Brendan gave us the background story on the troubles, showing us the murals and key locations around town while also letting us know how things have, and continue, to improve. Much of what we heard was different to how things were portrayed on the news back in the day, so very refreshing and awakening. Would recommend to anyone, a highlight of our trip to Ireland.

5.00We were taken around by a lovely tour called Ricky, whose knowledge of the area was exemplary and led us on an interesting and moving tour. I never really knew what had happened in Belfast over the last few centuries, and I was blown away by the history that the city has. Would highly recommend to anyone going to Belfast!
