What To Expect
After a safety brief and orientation of the yacht we will head out into the Bay of Gibraltar. We will hoist the sails and shut down the engine, Starlet of Dover will move silently and effortlessly through the water using just the wind for power. Sit back and relax or participate in sailing the yacht, brush up on old skills or learn some new ones from your experienced crew. We will schedule in a swim / lunch stop on the anchor for swimming, snorkelling or stand up paddle boarding (2 on board), before heading back to our berth in Queensway Quay marina where there are several bars and restaurants along the waters edge where you can enjoy great food or maybe just a sundowner after your sail.

5.00Fantastic adventure, I went with my work colleagues and we were amazed. John and Alex are an amazing couple who had hosted us amazingly, we had a couple of bottles of cava and some snacks after diving the water. We had a nice sight of dolphins which is unforgettable. Would go again on a trip with them

5.00We could not recommend this trip more highly! John and Alex included our children in the sailing experience throughout, teaching them to steer the boat and raise the masts. We enjoyed the thrill of dolphin spotting, splashing in the med and relaxing on deck with drinks aplenty. Our children positively squealed with delight when they spotted the fin of a dolphin and loved learning to sail. This is a must do experience. John and Alex are very hospitable, lovely to talk to and highly experienced sailors. The trip is well worth the money since we will be talking about it for months to come!

5.00This easily has to be the best experience/excursion available in Gibraltar. Both Alex and John were wonderful hosts and skippers. They were both very knowledgeable and passionate about their wonderful sailing charters. We were served a fantastic tapas spread with loads of tasty and healthy options which was what we needed after a lovely swim in the sea. We also got the chance to get up close with Gibraltar's famous dolphin population, which was a treat in its self. I would recommend anyone thinking about taking a sailing charter with the Starlet of Dover to do so, as it is an unforgettable experience.

5.00We had a great day out sailing. The experience was easy, relaxed, and well organised. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome. The crew were incredibly friendly and approachable, with a great balance between being professional and making you feel relaxed. During the trip, we felt completely relaxed as we could chill and have a conversation or get involved in the sailing. The boat itself was spot on. The perfect size for anything from a single person to a full family day out. It had plenty of room to relax or move about as you please. We cruised around the bay and dropped anchor and had a swim. Great fun! This is a great way to experience a different side of Gibraltar of which we we absolutely recommend it! We will definitely be back for another sail.

5.00From the minute we were welcomed with Sangria to the minjute we sadly had to say goodbye the host John and Alex were fantastic. They informed us of salilng rules ( i even got to steer a while as well!). As there was not enough wind to properly sail, we were treated to the most spectaluar dolfins display. Absulutely amazing. Much beter than "dolfin tours" Half way we were treated to fresh fruits, charcuterie board and humus. Delicious! We got to swim and genuinely enjoy and relax the afternoon. Would highly recommend and would definetly do again!1 Thank you
