The Blue Heron Fleet was established in 1955 by Capt. Harry Nagel. The fleet has been family owned and operated with the third generation currently at the helm. Blue Heron offers excellent year round fishing at a great price.
The vessels are the largest and most comfortable in the area. Vessels are custom built aluminum drift fishers that meet and exceed the United States Coast Guard regulations. The cabins offer cushioned seating, settees for catering, and clean men’s and ladies restrooms.
Both our locations are minutes from prime fishing grounds 20-40 minutes away depending on which hot spot is producing fish catches.
The fare includes rod, reel, bait, tackle, and fishing license. The crews have years of experience ensuring your families safety and enjoyment. Two half day excursion departing daily. No reservations necessary. Blue Heron specializes in private charters for family, business, and corporate events with the options of fishing or cruising.

1.00I never went. The wave forecast was 5ft so I cancelled as I was ill. I knew I would not get a refund and didn’t ask for one, but the guy on the phone argued with me when all I was trying to do was to be courteous in letting him know we would not be there. So rude for no reason.

5.00We knew there might be bad weather along with the cold snap earlier in the week so weren’t really expecting too much. We ended up having a great time even though a wild storm from came in with a downpour. The captain and crew were very nice and helpful and we felt very safe on this trip I e hone out in this boat for the past 15 plus years and it’s always a great time. I highly recommend this drift fishing trip and crew

5.00Had a great day on the boat. Mates were great and kept busy during the whole trip. A few fish were caught but my wife and I didn't have a bite along with most of the others on the boat. Boat was clean and organized with plenty of room to maneuver. Captain kept moving around to get us on some fish but it just wasn't our day. Will try again next year!
