5.00An absolute highlight on my visit to Australia. With minimal experience of snorkelling and being an older visitor to Cairns Pure Snorkelling turned out to be a wonderful smaller group trip led by people who know their marine biology and made me feel safe. A truly memorable trip and I learnt so much about the reef as one of the marine biologists pointed out and explained what I was seeing.

5.00Me and my partner had an incredible day with locally-owned Pure Snorkelling. The onboard crew were fantastic, made up of three marine biologists, a dive expert and the captain, all knowledgeable, friendly and passionate about the reef. They were always close by making sure we were comfortable and easing any nerves, and provided full support in the water (helping those that were not strong swimmers or experienced with snorkeling) and guiding everyone to the best spots on the reef to see the marine life. We visited a private dive spot with only about 15 to 20 guests, which made the experience feel really personal and extra special, definitely a bucket list item ticked off. It was a perfect mix of adventure, care and local expertise. Highly recommend this trip for anyone wanting a genuine and memorable reef experience away from the crowds.

5.00We had an amazing afternoon snorkelling with Pure Snorkelling, a new business under a year old. Boat & equipment all nice & new. If you have time i recommend that you go to the presentation from a marine biologist about the reef & what to expect. Very interesting & informative, so we were able to identify what we were seeing under the water when we got out to the reef. We were fortunate enough to go to Briggs reef as we had perfect weather. We had 4 marine biologists in the water with our group keeping an eye on people, making sure everyone was ok, pointing out points of interest & helping the few people that needed a bit of extra confidence in the water. I thought I was going to be one of those people as even though a strong swimmer I’m not so good with marine life, but I absolutely loved it, it felt such a safe & peaceful experience. I wasn’t even fazed by the couple of black tip reef sharks that we saw. It was the highlight of the trip. A nice afternoon tea was served after our swim & went down a treat. Our safety was paramount & the team did well to make sure we had an amazing afternoon on the reef! Well worth the fee!

5.00Pure Snorkeling did an outstanding job to enjoy half a day on the reef. Due to weahter conditions our captain Jerryd chose Moore Reef for our snorkeling adventure. I had problems with my mask, due to my physiognomy and my mustache despite lots of vaseline applied. Kiria helped Everybody helped me and when I finally shaved my mustache Justin gave me a private tour on the reef. Everybody was so caring. I absolutely recommend this tour which is pure snorkeling with max. 40 PAX.

5.00A wonderful small group, 6 crew, 22 passengers. All gear was included and the coral was sooooo colorful. Everyone was so helpful and communication was great. We were running late and they made every effort to get us on the boat!!
