There is no rush and well will make sure that the paddle speed suits all of the group members. After 1.5hrs we will have our halfway break for about 30 mins by the side of the river with tea or coffee / hot chocolate provided. Had a wonderful trip from Steamer Quay upstream to the north of Dartington with Phil from Paddle Devon. Did not expect to see seals and a steam train! Beautiful, clear water, flat as a millpond. Pace was nice and moderate so we could take in the scenery and wildlife, without feeling pressured (we are in our 60s). Highly recommended.

We had an absolutely fantastic canoe trip with Nils from Paddle Devon. Me and the kids aged 10 and 14 did a half day tour from Totnes and enjoyed every second. Nils was super helpful and knowledgable and really great company too! We saw a seal and lots of different birds and stopped off at a pretty little village for ice cream. The perfect trip. Will be back. 10/10. Thanks Paddle Devon 🛶❤️✨

Really lovely experience paddling on the river with our guide Kerry. She explained everything clearly and made us feel confident, and she was great company. Definitely recommend this experience and we can’t wait to go again!

Have done many trips with Paddle Devon and Nils. The trips are always professionally run and always great fun. I started white water Kayaking with Nils 2 years ago and was pretty apprehensive. Nils soon showed me the ropes and now we paddle bigger and bigger rivers. Love it!!!

As a couple we went on the estuary trip and had a lovely time! We felt very safe and relaxed in Nils' company. There was two other couples on the trip, so a very nice group size. On the trip we saw seals, herons and kingfishers, and more. We had a beautiful sunny day for it, and had a nice pit stop halfway. Highly recommend!
