It is popular street food in Vietnam. The ingredients include rice cake, dried shrimps, crispy pork skin, scallion oil, and dipping sauce. - Bánh Nậm (Flat Steamed Rice Dumpling): Rice flour with mixture of Shrimps and lean meat pork steamed in banana leaves. - Bánh Lọc ((Rice dumpling cake): It is covered with banana leaf. In each cake, there is a piece of shrimp and ground pork. The fish sauce goes with Bánh bột lọc is different from Bánh bèo. It is saltier, therefore, it is served in a very small plate. How to eat it? You peel the leaf, dip the cake with a sauce, then put it in your mouth… Yummy!

Ha was a fantastic guide. We got to try lots of delicious, full size dishes (we should have paced ourselves with the quantities!) and learn about how it's all made, as well as given lots of interesting historical and cultural background. Ha was very friendly, flexible in her suggestions depending on our tastes and gave us great tips to enjoy our time in Hue. Thank you, we loved it!

Ms Ha was a splendid guide! Easy going and knowledgeable. We had a wonderful local food experience. Glad we were walking because we had so much to eat! She took us to five different spots, off the beaten track, unique and delicious. Back lane private home eateries and pop up noodle stalls all with a special Hué flavour. Highly recommended.

Ha was an absolute pleasure. She was intensive, knowledgeable and professional. Not a dull moment. She was also kind enough to a small interview after food tour for a film project I'm working on. If you are coming to hue city you must book a tour with Ha!

My 2 friends and I had a wonderful and wonderfully filing evening traipsing around Hue with our knowledgeable guide Ha. She guided us to 7 spots over the course of our nearly 3 hour, 5,000 step walking tour. All of the food has been covered elsewhere, but please arrive hungry. We enjoyed a local Huda beer and covered a lot of ground in the city heat. Ha provided welcome commentary on what we were seeing (and eating) and the wait lines for food were very short, even when some of the establishments seemed at capacity. In sum, this was an educational, delicious, memorable evening and one you should book immediately. Favorite dish: the Hue gelatinous rice cakes (Bánh Nậm) and the tiny clam rice (Cơm Hến). Suggestions: bring along an appetite and a bottle of water or two as all the eating is thirsty work. Oh and do try the bonus infamous duck egg (Trứng Lộn). This defeated us, but maybe you'll conquer it.

I was sent clear instructions as to where to meet my guide, Ha. She was waiting for me and explained to format of the tour and checked for allergies. It turned out that I was the only person booked so we set off. I opted for a walking tour. I was introduced to a variety places and food that I probably would not have tried otherwise. Ha explained clearly what everything was and the ingredients used. It offers great value and was an excellent way to spend a few hours. Top tip: skip lunch as the servings are very generous!

I booked this last minute and very pleased that I did so. Ha is an excellent guide and clearly explained the various dishes that we tried. Our walking tour took us to a number of places where we were served a variety of traditional dishes. In all, it was a great evening and very worth doing. It offers very good value and will take you to places that most tourists don’t visit. Top Tip: skip lunch as you need to be hungry!

This was the best thing we’ve done in Vietnam so far! Hà was wonderful - she took us on a 3 hr walking tour that included 5 very unique food stops and a walk through Hué’s largest market. The food was exceptional - Hà explained each dish and how they were prepared. She made sure our food accommodated a gluten allergy. Highly recommend!
