I spent an unforgettable morning kayaking among the seals at Pelican Point. First of all, our guide was really great and had the best knowledge that I have seen so far. On the way out to the bay he took the time to explain and show us interesting things along the way and made sure everyone could ask questions and take photos anytime they wanted to. The kayaking itself was an absolute blast. There were tons of seals jumping and swimming around the kayak and interacting with us. The best thing about being in a kayak rather than on a boat is that you can interact with the animals without disturbing them. We spent about one hour on the water, just enough time. After the kayaking we were also served rusks as well as coffee, tea and hot cocoa. They also provided us with waterproof clothes and wet bags for cameras etc. All in all it was a great day and an activity that should not be missed out on.
