Visit the Lagoa do Fogo Caldeira. We take some secondary roads to get the best views that others miss out on. At the top of Pico da Barrosa the highest point is 947 meters. It is here that we find some of the most spectacular views of the island.

What To Expect
Lagoa do Fogo
You will experience the true beauty of the island up on top of the Lagoa do Fogo crater. From the top you may see both coast lines at the same time. Spectacular views on one side and the Fire Lake crater on the other.
Salto do Cabrito
Visit the beautiful Salto do Cabrito waterfall.

5.00I booked this last minute as I’d missed out on seeing Lagoa do Fogo due to fog on a tour with another company. It was stunning and the guide had the best viewpoints at all the locations. He also did not pressure us at all with timings, as I had found and disliked with other companies. The jeep and offroading made it feel more of an adventure and less transactional.

5.00The time did not allow the planned visit but the guide Marcio found an alternative with other interesting points that we did not even know their existence to visit, gave advice, told us super interesting stories and in fact we learned more this morning than all the days we were here we loved the adventure and above all the good disposition during the whole trip!! I really recommend! Thank you!

He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and really great at explaining all the places we visited. Antonio also took the time to let us explore the area and made sure we got the most out of the tour. The whole experience was super fun, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide or tour. 5.00We were on a half-day jeep trip to Lagoa do Fogo mm. Super nice trip to the beautiful crater lake, waterfalls and great views. Our driver and guide Pedro Medeiros was a really good guy. Very easy to talk to and with a good sense of humor. He was also very helpful about what else we could see on the beautiful island. We highly recommend him. Anette and Carsten

5.00Had a great morning with my Guide Pedro. He was very knowledgeable and funny and made the trip one of the best on the island. We visited several places on the way to Lake Fire and on the way back. Laughed a lot and got to experience so many amazing places and magical views. My warmest recommendations and greetings.
